Everyone cheered and clinked glasses as we welcomed the new year. Danny pulled me in for a kiss and the others all did the same - Tom and Diana, Harry and Megz, Dougie and Shawny. I was so happy that everyone was alright after the incident with Kate last September. The police asked us loads of questions once we were all out of the hospital and they let her off with a warning. After all, it wasn't her that nearly killed us - it was the hypothermia from being outside for so long (although we wouldn't have been if it weren't for her). We still had to be careful but we hoped she'd stay clear of us all from now on. Danny apologised to me as soon as he remembered what had happened. He told me that Kate had never been like that and had always been so sweet and kind, it was his fault she'd turned sour. I didn't believe him and told him he was being silly but he didn't agree and still doesn't.
