Epilogue

I watched our little girl run off into the playground on her first day at school. Megz and Harry came up behind us with their youngest child, Toby, eager to go and see his friends. He was in his second year at primary school and their eldest, Chloe, had just started secondary school. Then Dougie and Shawny came along with their twins, Kaci and Louise, holding hands and walking off into the playground ready to begin their third year at primary school. Then finally Danny walked up with Abi and their little boy Ethan in the same year as Lily, my little girl, and their youngest Freddie in a pushchair. I looked into Tom's eyes and he looked back at mine as we watched all of the children running around and having fun. Then I looked back down into the pushchair where our second child, Zoë, lay fast asleep. We all stood in a row and watched the kids have fun. McFly and the girls, Danny, Abi, Dougie, Shawny, Harry, Megz, Tom and I. Then last but not least, Ruby stood beside me with her husband Rick and little boy Ben, not married into but still part of the McFamily. All of us happy. Forever. And fallen in love.
