Chapter 6: The Judgement Of Love♥♡

You froze on spot.''I asked you a question! What is your name?!'' Everything was going too fast, you couldn't catch up with time. Right then and there, you made up a name.''R-Rough hero!'' Levi stepped closer to you and gave you a cold glare.''Your real name. I don't have all day, dammit! We are looking for someone important!'' ''That is my real name!'' Corporal Levi made his usual 'tch' sound, and turned back around.'' Leave. Your lucky I have to attend a trial later. Therefore, I don't have time to fill out paperwork for an intruder like yourself.'' You didn't respond back to him, instead, you turned around. Before you could leave the scene, you felt vibrations coming from the ground again.''Corporal! A 10-meter is approaching us!'' Petra yelled.''Hurry up and leave! Do you want to die?!'' You looked at the titan and noticed that it wasn't an ordinary 10-meter titan. It was an abnormal titan. On instinct, you used your maneuver gear to settle yourself on the neck, and sliced the nape. Luckily, no one was pounced on by the monster. You're relief didn't last long as you were pulled back by your cloak. Quickly, you turned to see who had tugged on it. It was Corporal Levi.''You didn't tell me you were a part of the Scouting Regiment." Levi said coldly." I'm not! Now, let me go!'' You yelled. Finally, Corporal Levi released your cloak.''So, you really are a criminal. I should have known. Oulo!" '' Y-Yes?'' ''Tie this criminal up. It turns out that I'll be attending two trials today. One for a titan-shifter, and one for an inconsiderate fool. People like you, waste my time.'' 「What does he mean by 'titan-shifter'?!」''What do you mean 'titan-shifter'?''  Corporal Levi stared down at you and smirked. Slowly, he lifted his arm and pointed towards Eren's way.''That boy right there. His name is Eren Jaeger. Mankind's first titan shifter.'' You couldn't believe what you were you hearing. Eren? Out of all people why him? The question kept ringing through your mind. You shook the question out of your mind.「Now, isn't the time to think about that. I'm mostly concerned about the trial. What would happen if they found out who I am?」'' The trial is about to begin. Bring them both to court, we don't want to be late.'' With that said, Corporal Levi settled upon his horse and left.

"Let me go!" Eren yelled frantically. You remained silent on the way to the court house. Eren on the other hand, refused to stay quiet and kept screaming."Shut up! Why can't you be like the other criminal? Silent!" "The court house is around the corner, it won't take too long. Be patient, Oulo."Petra said reassuringly. You stared at Petra through the corner of your eyes. However, you immediately gazed back at the streets in front of you. If you were to stare at her any longer, the memory of that night would have flooded back to your mind."There it is, the court house. See? What did I tell you, Oulo?" Petra said while smiling."Tch. I just want this court discussion to be done with already." Oulo stated while making his stallion halt to a stop. Petra frowned as Oulo finished his sentence."Could you stop role playing as Levi? It really is annoying." "Tch." Oulo said as he unloaded Eren and yourself from the stallion. Mikasa escorted Eren inside, while you were left behind with both Petra and Oulo."Finally, you idiots arrive." You slowly turned around and saw that it was the stone cold Corporal Levi."Corporal! We were about to escort the criminal inside the court house." "I'll escort...IT inside. Both of you settle your horses somewhere and head inside before the trial starts. Understand?" "Crystal!" They both saluted and fled the scene. As they left, you couldn't help, but, stare."What are you staring at? Hurry up and walk!" Corporal Levi yelled at you.

"Who is this, Levi?" Commander Erwin questioned the Corporal."A criminal. IT has our maneuver gear, however, this person isn't part of our regiment. Therefore, there shall be a trial for this criminal." Commander Erwin dropped his gaze down to you."I see. Guards! Place this criminal right next to Eren Jaeger." With that final statement, the commander turned and left. Both guards saluted to him. Corporal Levi followed behind shortly. You were immediately handcuffed and was headed toward the court room. You just obeyed to their orders, instead of retaliating back to them like Eren. As you arrived, all eyes were on you. You showed an emotionless expression to everyone. The guards, then, made you kneel down on the ground and handcuff you to a metallic pole. You turned to look at Eren. Eren had his eyes staring right at the judge."Now that the two criminals have arrived, the court discussion will now begin." You turned your attention back at the judge. One man from the jury stood up from his seat."Thank you, you're honor. We have two criminals. Eren Jaeger and...unknown." " Unknown? Doesn't the other person have a name, too?" " It's Rough hero! "shouted Petra. "I see. Eren Jaeger and Rough hero, do you understand the crimes you have committed? If not, please explain the reason why." You narrowed your eyes at the judge. You haven't committed any crimes. All you did was run away."You're honor, I don't even know why I'm here. All I remember is every member of the Military Police Regiment pointing their weapons at me. Ple-'' "Liar! Everybody saw you disperse yourself from the titan corpse. Just tell the truth!" yelled one of the people from the jury, interrupting Eren."I am telling the truth! I have no memory of the incident! Please, believe me!" You remained silent, waiting for the argument to stop. Before the person could retort back, the judge raised his left hand in the air. Signaling for them to stop."Rough hero. I have heard Jaeger's reason. Now, I want to hear yours. Unless, you understand the crime you have committed." You stared down at the floorboards, then, nodded." Good. Now, Eren Jaeger, did you have an accomplice when you transformed?" " I just told you I ne- " " I bet it's that black-haired woman that was with him before the trial." Eren snapped his head towards the jury. " Mikasa has nothing to do with this. Leave her out of this." " How do we know that? She's probably another titan-shifter." "Don't you dare lay a hand on her! If you do, I'll kill you!" After Eren stopped talking, the room went silent." Cadet! Ready your gun!" Y-Yes sir!" The cadet pointed his gun to Eren with his index finger on the trigger. Before you could react, you heard Eren's shackles jingle. You turned to look at Eren and widened your eyes. Corporal Levi kicked Eren hard in the face. Eren hung his head low and coughed up blood. Corporal Levi took this as a chance and kicked him again in the face. You watched silently as the situation unraveled before your eyes. Until, you couldn't be quiet anymore." Stop!" You yelled. The Corporal stopped beating Eren and gave you his full attention." Did you just order a commanding officer?"

You didn't respond and continuing staring at the floorboards. Corporal Levi walked towards you and kneed you in the abdomen. You didn't cough up blood, however, you hung your head low."Tch, I asked you a question." You shook your head. Corporal Levi picked your head up with your cloak, and kneed you in the face. During the impact, you shut your eyes, closed tight. As Corporal Levi released your clump of hair from his hands, you, again, hung your head low to the ground."Stop telling false statements. For example, your name. I want to know who is really underneath this cloak." 「There's no point in hiding my identity anymore. They would have known either way.」"Go ahead." You stated confidently."What are you talking about?" "If you want to know my identity, release the cloak from my head. Therefore, revealing my true identity." Corporal Levi pulled off the hood and your handkerchief off without hesitation. Everybody in the court room gasped."(Your name)...you're alive." Corporal Levi said hoarsely."(Your name)?!" Eren exclaimed. You remained quiet."O-Oi, Levi-" " Release her." Corporal Levi commanded, cutting off the man mid-sentence."What?!" The man exclaimed.
