Chapter 7: Let Our Hearts And Souls Reunite♥♡

"Just do what I say and release her!" Corporal Levi yelled. The frightened guard frantically saluted to Corporal Levi and complied with his demand. Slowly, the guard approached you and released you from your shackles. Suddenly, you felt a strong force drag you towards the exit."Levi! Wa-" Were the last words you heard before the sound of doors shutting close echoed through your ears."Release me!" You yelled at Corporal Levi. Three minutes later, Corporal Levi released you and pushed your body against a wall. You looked at your surroundings. Corporal Levi had dragged you into a deserted corridor, where no one was present, except, the both of you."Why..." You heard Corporal Levi mutter."Corporal, please let me go." "Why did you runaway from me?! I don't understand!" You relaxed your shoulders and stared at him. However, your eyes held no warmth, no love. Instead, it was blank and emotionless."Why?" You questioned rhetorically."It's simple. I decided to leave the Scouting Regiment and fight alone." "I know that isn't the correct response! Tell me why!" Although you displayed no emotions on your face, inside, you were boiling with anger."Tell me!" You finally reached your boiling point."Why?! You used me to make Petra feel envy! You loved her all along and decided to use me as a decoy to make her jealous. I am not naive Corporal Levi!" All the anger you held in for so long, poured out of your mouth all at one time."I told you it was a misunderstanding!" "Levi's right, (Your name)."A voice said softly, scaring you. You turned your head to look at who it was. Petra Ral, the last person you wanted to discuss with."Petra, why are you here?!" "Levi,(Your name) has a right to know what was going on that night. (Your name), I love Levi. However, I knew he loved you more than anything in the world. Therefore, on the night you left, I asked Levi my last favor." You stared blankly at Petra."What exactly was the favor?" You asked."The favor was for Levi to pretend to confess to me. He hesitated at first, then he accepted. Before I could leave Levi, I just wanted to feel what you both have for a moment.(Your name), please forgive him. You both share an endless love for each other." Petra begged. You looked back at Corporal Levi. He hung his head low, not looking at you. You felt mixed emotions. Although, you knew exactly what your answer was."I forgive you... Corporal Levi. Do you forgive me?'' As soon as you said his name, he snapped his head at you. Then, Corporal Levi embraced you tightly."Of course I do, brat. Stop calling  me Corporal and call me by my name again." "Why?" You questioned."Your voice is a perfect melody to me. Especially, every time you say my name, which makes my heart melt." You blushed furiously as he said those words. Looking back at the other presence behind you, you saw Petra smile genuinely and softly. Petra left you and Levi both alone in the hallway. You couldn't help, but, smile as she left.「Thank you, Petra. You really are a true friend.」"Let's get out of here."Levi said while grabbing your right wrist."L-Levi! What about the trial?!" "Erwin will handle the situation. Now, let's leave before we cause a ruckus." With that said, you both were heading toward the exit.

"Levi, where are we going?" You said calmly."You'll see." Levi brought you all the way over to Wall Sina, the location where you had escaped recently three days ago. A few minutes later, you both arrived at a small mount outside castle grounds. The location where you and Levi both shared a perfect tune together. Levi halted his horse to a stop and both of you climbed down from the stallion. Quickly, Levi grabbed your wrist in his hand and dragged you over to the small mount. When you both arrived, Levi turned to face you with his hands still clamped over yours.''Do you remember this spot?'' ''Yes, Levi.'' ''I want to hear you say it.'' You were confused at what Levi had just said.''Say what, Levi?'' ''That you love me. After all that had happened over the past three days, I need you to say that you love me in that sweet angelic voice you possess. I was very worried about you.'' You blushed and looked at Levi in the eyes.''I..l-love...you, L-Levi.'' ''Recite it, again. Without stuttering like a fool.'' You took a deep breath and stared deeply into Levi's eyes.''I love you, Levi.'' With that statement heard, Levi kissed you passionately on the lips and embraced you. You returned it. by embracing his torso.A minute later, Levi released himself from the hug and looked at you full of lust and integrity.''Do you also remember the promise we both made?'' ''To build the world in our image. A world full of peace, serenity, and generosity. Where desolation doesn't exist. That was our promise to each other. Levi, I thought you used me to make Petra envy you.'' ''Levi softened his gaze at you and squeezed your hands tighter.''I love you more than anything in this pathetic thing we call a world. I'm tired, let's go head back to headquarters so we both can rest.'' You nodded in agreement and both you and Levi rode on his horse and left Wall Sina.
