We came out of the woods and heard a lot of excitement. The two children saw us first and ran to us laughingly. Some adults saw the kids running from the camp and followed them.

The little girl jumped between me and Matt and told us that we have to come see what they have found. There in the middle of our camp was a big pile of suitcases and backpacks. People started telling us that they have piled everything, so that we can all go through the cases together.

I smiled at them and told them that we have found fresh water and some fruit, as well as some rabbits. Everyone was cheering as we showed them and we gave them some of the sweet oranges to eat. We all gather around the suitcases and start opening them. The survivors who's suitcases or bags were between the pile, was given their things to open themselves, but I told them that anything in their bags that we could use together, they should put to one side.

Although the bags were wet, we found a lot of dried fruits, biscuits and some other goodies, which we put together in one big suitcase. We even found a bag that had different spices inside and more alcohol. There was a bag which held a guitar and no one knew who it belonged too, so I gave it to Matt, as I knew he could play it very well.

The clothes we took out of the cases and hanged them on branches to dry. Unfortunately my bag wasn't amongst the cases, but at the bottom of the pile I found Conner's bag and a lump formed in my throat. I look towards Matt and he touched my hand and took the bag from me, telling me that we don't have to open the bag straight away. I shake my head at him and told him that it would be unfair towards the others, so I took the bag and slowly opened it.

Inside the bag I found a few pairs of suits and some casual clothes. I also found a shaving kit, some soap and a few bottles of shampoo. There was also a hunting knife that he bought for his dad and perfume for his mom. At the bottom of the bag I found two big bags of shortbread biscuits and just as I thought the bag was empty, I found a small box. I took it out and opened it, then gasp.

I take out the beautiful bracelet and stare at the small diamonds on it, then turn it over to look at the inside and read the engraved words. 'Mine forever'

A sob broke through my throat. For who was this bracelet meant to be. I look up and saw everyone watching me, so I put it back inside the small box and closed the lid. I put the box back inside the bag with his clothes and put it to one side.

The others helped me to sort out all the things we have found and when we were done, I smiled at them. "Well, today was a good day for us, so tonight we can relax and have a small celebration.

Ben and a Jake walked down to the water to clean the rabbits, then brought them back for Matt to put on the fire. I took out some of the alcohol and pored some for those who wanted and the others I gave some of the juice. We've cut off the tops of a few bottles to use as drinking glasses. While sitting around the fire, Matt tuned the guitar, then started playing a well-known song and I started singing. Soon, some of the others caught up with me and sang after the music.

We open one of the bags with biscuits and each of us had a few. We started talking and I learned more about the other survivors. I found out that the young boy was living with his mother, but was on his way to spend some time with his dad, which was a well-known businessman. His parents must be going crazy by now, wondering what have happened to their little boy. The young girl was an orphan who was travelling with a woman that was suppose to take her to a new orphanage. Unfortunately the woman wasn't amongst the survivors.

Most of the people were on holiday and was on their way home. After hours of talking, we decided to call it a night and got up off the sand to get a few hours of sleep. I walk towards one of the chairs from the plane, which were put in a row and sat in it. I look out towards the water and my mind went back to Conner.

Silent tears ran down my face. The only thing I could think of is that he didn't survive the crash, as we haven't found any other survivor's. I close my eyes with thoughts of him and must of drifted off to sleep, as I feel someone drape a blanket over me. I looked up and saw Hanna, so I sit up straight and smiled at her.

"Sorry that I woke you up, but I didn't want you to freeze to death during the night," she says and I assured her that I was just resting my eyes. We started talking and I found out that she was from the same city as us. She was on her way home from University, as she have just finished her finals and was doing her intern in our hometown. I also learned that her dad was the headmaster of the same school I graduated from six years ago.
