Adeline's P.O.V

Going to school without Archie felt weird. I hated being alone. It's awful. Not once in my life did I go to school without Archie. He was always with me. From the first day of kindergarten to the first day of high school. 

By the time I got to school, everything felt completely different. Everyone gave me looks as I walked down the hallway. Except one. I saw him smile at me before walking away.

I started to put my new stuff into my locker before shutting it. As I headed over to my first class, I heard the intercom turn on.

"Adeline Andrews. Please come to the principal's office."

I walked over to see Weatherbee's office to see the boy from before standing next to Mr. Weatherbee. There was another girl with him as well.

"Ms. Andrews. These two students are new here. This is Beckham Holtby and Evelyn Evernever. I need you to show them around and show them what an excellent school we are," Principal Weatherbee tells em.

"Yes sir."

He walked off making me look over at the new students. I smiled at the two of them.

"Hi, I'm Evelyn Evernever. I don't really need a tour but would it be alright to come to you if I have any questions?" Evelyn asked me.

"Of course! If you see me around, don't be afraid to say hi," I tell her.

"Okay. Thank you," Evelyn smiled before walking away. I looked over at the boy, a smile still on my face.

"I'm Beckham Holtby," He introduced himself.

"Adeline Andrews. Nice to meet you," I said kindly.

"So I guess you're my tour guide?" He asked.

"Yes. Welcome to Riverdale High School," I smiled at him. I started to lead

"I heard a lot about this place," Beckham told me.

"I'm surprised your parents moved here after all the stuff that's gone down here," I tell him.

"Me too but it's kind of punishment for what I did in my last school," Beckham told me.

"What happened in your old school may I ask?" I asked.

"I blew up the chemistry lab," Beckham explained.

"You blew it up?!" I asked in shock.

"I was bored," Beckham shrugged.

"Oh my gosh," I laughed a little.

"You have a cute laugh," Beckham complimented. I blushed at his comment.

"Thanks. Now let's get on with the tour around the school," I tell him as we continued to walk around.

"So do I have you in any of my classes?" Beckham asked me.

"Let me see your schedule," I said. He handed his schedule. I scanned through it and smiled.

"Just math. You're in junior classes. I'm actually a sophomore," I tell him.

"Really?" Beckham asked me. I nodded at him as I continued to walk.

"You must be really smart then," Beckham said.

"Kinda," I shrugged.

"My locker is 389. Do you know where that is?" Beckham asked.

"Yup! You're like the hall over next to mine," I tell him as I walked him over.

"Thanks for showing me around," Beckham tells me.

"No problem," I smiled.
