Adeline's P.O.V
Days have passed since I last saw Archie. I moved on and things were going back to normal slowly. I was walking next to Cheryl as we walked across school with the vixens. The upcoming pep rally was coming up and I was excited for my first pep rally as a River Vixen. I saw Beckham with Reggie and some other football players making me smile at him. I noticed Sweet Pea nearby with some serpents.
As Cheryl and I walked, I felt like something was wrong. The next thing I knew, I was falling on the ground.
Beckham's P.O.V
I saw Adeline and most of the Vixens fall on the floor. Cheryl screamed, making me, Reggie, and Sweet Pea rush over to Adeline. I picked her up a little. Reggie picked up Veronica who was next to her.
"Someone call the nurse!" Cheryl screamed as she was next to her girlfriend.
"Call 911!" I called out.
The teachers and nurses came over to get the Vixens. I carried Adeline to the nurses office. I lied her down before the nurse had to kick me out.
"Is she going to be okay?" Sweet Pea asked me.
"I hope so. I'll call her dad right now," I tell him before taking out my phone.
"Hey. Make sure you take care of Adeline. She's already been through enough," Sweet Pea said.
"Of course," I nodded.
Adeline's P.O.V
I was at home in bed after what had happened. Dad brought me soup to help me feel better. Vegas was next to me on the floor. I was stroking Vegas's fur as I watched a movie on Netflix. I heard a knock on the door making me look up to see Beckham there.
"Hi," I said.
"Hey. How are you feeling?" Beckham asked me as he walked over to me. He sat down on my bed before kissing my head.
"Fine. I can't believe I had a seizure at school," I tell him in disbelief.
"Maybe it's stress?" Beckham suggested.
"Maybe," I guessed.
"Sweet Pea asked me to check up on you," Beckham tells me.
"He what?" I asked.
"I know that he's your ex but he does care about you. We both do," Beckham told me.
"I'm fine. I'm going to be so behind though," I sighed.
"Don't worry. I got your homework and Cheryl is taking care of some of the student body things until you are better," Beckham tells me.
"What did I do to deserve you guys?" I asked.
"You've done so much for everyone. Time for us to take care of you for a change," Beckham said before kissing my cheek once more.
