Thirty Three

Adeline's P.O.V

I walked inside to see Sweet Pea and Fangs with Mr. Keller. I smirked as he saw me. Sweet Pea said something to Fangs before walking over to me.

"Heard the Serpents are joining the police force," I tell him.

"It was Jughead's idea."

"That's good. Especially what that one dude did to Fangs," I said, crossing my arms.

"Yeah."

"Can I talk to you?" I asked him.

"Sure."

I looked around at our surrounding area. I gestured him to follow me into an empty classroom. I leaned against the teacher's desk while Sweet Pea leaned against one of the student desks.

"I need to tell you that I'm moving at the end of the school year," I tell Sweet Pea.

"You're moving? Why?" Sweet Pea asked me.

"I don't like it here. I did but everything going on, it's not the best place to be right now," I tell him.

Sweet Pea walked over before hugging me. I hugged him back as I leaned my head on his chest. I heard the door open making Sweet Pea and I pull away. Beckham stood there after he opened the door.

"Was I interrupting something?" Beckham asked, clearly angry.

"No. This isn't what it looks like," I explained.

"Really?" Beckham asked me before walking off. I looked up at Sweet Pea who looked a little upset.

"You want me to talk to him?" Sweet Pea asked.

"That'll make it worst. I'll be back."

I rushed out to follow Beckham. I found him walking outside near the football stadium.

"Beckham! Wait," I called out. Beckham stopped before turning around to look at me.

"What you saw back there-"

"Do you still love him?" Beckham asked me.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Do you still love Sweet Pea? Because it's obvious that he's still in love with you," Beckham tells me.

"Beckham, he was my first love. But I'm with you now," I tell him.

"It doesn't matter if you're with him. Do you still love Sweet Pea?" Beckham asked me.

"I did. Beckham, he was there for me for so many things. We are just friends now," I assure to Beckham.

Beckham walked over to me before cupping my cheeks. He leaned down to kiss me. Beckham's kisses were extremely different from from Sweet Pea's. Sweet Pea's kisses were always exciting and always felt like I was a dangerous woman. With Beckham, I felt safe. I felt like I was the only girl in the world with him. The moment when Beckham pulled away, I looked up into his eyes.

"I love you, Adeline Andrews," Beckham tells me.

"I love you too, Beckham."

After school, I heard someone knocking on my bedroom door. I looked up to see Archie standing there.

"What's up Archie?" I asked.

"I need to tell you something and I need your help," Archie told me.

"On what?"

"Mr. Lodge gave out these cards when we were feuding. Now, we have a plan to lure in everyone who has this card to end it," Archie said, handing me a game card. I looked at it to see the same on that Ricky left.
