Adeline's P.O.V

I was with Veronica as I was talking to her about Archie.

"I want to see Archie more. I'm worried about him," I tell her.

"I get you," Veronica said.

"It's weird not having him play his guitar in the house. Or him talking to dad about whatever guys talk about," I tell her.

"I have an idea on how you can see Archie more," Veronica said.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"Do you trust me?" Veronica asked me.

"Yes. Why?" I asked her as she smiled at me.

The next day, I was still baffled on what Veronica told me what she and the River vixens were doing. I was even more baffled that I was in the uniform. I wasn't even an official vixen.

"I can't believe you managed to convince me to do this," I told Veronica as we walked over.

"Well you did say you wanted to see your brother more," Veronica said.

"Not like this!" I said as I motioned at my outfit.

"Adeline, it's a one time thing," Cheryl reminded me.

"She's right, Adeline," Josie said. I gave her a side look before we walked over to the fence.

I saw Archie next to some guy as they looked over at us. Veronica put the radio down before we got into positions. The music started to play as we started the routine.

"The warden threw a party In the county jail; The prison band was there," Josie sung. I saw Archie and the other inmates rush over to the fence to see us sing and dance for them.

"And they began to wail; The band was jumpin'; And the joint began to swing; You should've heard them; Knocked out jailbirds sing."

"Let's rock; Everybody, let's rock; Everybody in the whole cell block; Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock," We all sung.

"Number forty-seven; Said to number three; 'You're the cutest; Jailbird I ever did see; I sure would be delighted; With your company; Come on and do; The Jailhouse Rock with me'," Veronica sung.

"Let's rock; Everybody, let's rock; Everybody in the whole cell block; Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock."

"Spider Murphy Played the tenor saxophone; Little Joe was blowin' On the slide trombone; The drummer boy; From Illinois Went crash, boom, bang; The whole rhythm section was the Purple Gang," Cheryl sung.

"Let's rock; Everybody, let's rock; Everybody in the whole cell block; Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock," We all sung. I saw Veronica run over somewhere but we continued with the song.

"Sad sack was sittin' on a block of stone; Way over in the corner weepin' all alone; The warden said, "hey, buddy, don't you be no square"; If you can't find a partner, use a wooden chair," I sung.

"Let's rock everybody, let's rock; Everybody in the whole cell block; Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock; Dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock; Dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock; Dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock; Dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock; Dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock," We all sung and finished.

At the end we all watched as Archie ran with the football. I smiled until I saw the guards rushing towards the inmates. I gasped as I saw Archie fight back. Veronica and I rushed over to the fence.

"Archie!" Veronica shouted.

"Stop it! Let go of him!" I yelled. A couple vixens pulled me back as we all started to pack up our stuff.

At home, I sat on the table, sipping some water. I looked over to see my dad walk inside.

"Are you part of the River Vixens now?" Dad asked me.

"No. It was for a one time thing," I tell him.

"What was it for?" Dad asked.

"Veronica told me that they were going to give a little show for Archie's game. Kinda like what they do for games. Archie convinced the other inmates to do a football match and well, it didn't end so great," I tell him.

"What happened?" Dad asked as he sat in front of me.

"They thought it was some kind of riot or something and they started to beat him up," I sighed.

"Is he okay?" Dad asked me.

"I don't know," I said, tearing up.

"I'll go see him tomorrow. You can join me if you'd like," Dad tells me.

"Okay," I nodded.
