Today was my last day at Riverdale. Archie and dad were going to drive me to the airport. But before I left, everyone I knew came to say goodbye to me. I was slightly crying as my dad and Archie put my bags in the trunk of the

"Adeline! I can't believe you're leaving me," Cheryl pouted.

"I will be back for the holidays. I won't be gone forever," I assured to her.

"But you're my mini me," Cheryl said.

"I'll always be your mini me," I tell her.

"Damn straight!"

"Adeline, we are going to miss you," Veronica told me as she hugged me tightly.

"I am going to miss all of you as well," I tell her.

"You sure you're coming back for the holidays right?" Betty asked me.

"Of course. I gotta check up on Archie don't I?" I asked.

"Goodbye little Andrews. I am going to miss you so much," Reggie said before engulfing me to a tight hug.

"Alright. That's everything," Archie said. I looked back at him before looking back at everyone else.

"I'll see you guys in November," I smiled before we all joined into a group hug. After we pulled away, I looked over at Beckham who smiled at me.

"I'm going to miss you," I tell him.

"I'm going to miss you too."

"The next girl is going to be so lucky to have you as a boyfriend," I tell him.

"And the next guy is lucky to have you as a girlfriend," Beckham said.

I hugged him tightly before kissing his cheek. Beckham kissed the side of my head before letting me go. I smiled at everyone before waving goodbye to them. I got into the truck with Archie and my dad before we headed off to the airport.

At the airport, I got my stuff ready before waiting for my flight. I looked at Archie and my dad before giving them a hug.

"I love you guys so much," I tell them.

"We love you too, Adeline," Archie smiled.

"You have fun with your mom now alright?"

"I will."

"Adeline!" I looked over to see Sweet Pea rushing over to me.

"Sweet Pea?" I asked confused.

"Sweet Pea, what are you doing here?" Archie asked Sweet Pea the moment he caught up to us.

"I need to talk to Adeline," Sweet Pea told him.

"We'll give you two a moment. Just make it quick," dad told Sweet Pea before he and Archie walked away.

"Sweet Pea, what are you doing here?" I asked him.

"I love you. I never stopped loving you. Don't go. Don't leave," Sweet Pea told me.

My heart started to race a little from the sudden confession. I stared in shock at Sweet Pea as he admitted his feelings to me.

"I have to go," I tell him.

"You don't have to. I can protect you. We can run away together," Sweet Pea told me.

"Sweet Pea. As much as I would like that, I can't. Riverdale wasn't healthy for me and I need a break from here," I tell him.

"I love you. I wanted another chance but the moment I saw you with Beckham, I knew that I lost you to him," Sweet Pea told me.

"Sweet Pea-"

"I regret everything that I did. Cheating on you, not being there for you in the beginning, everything. I love you and I don't want to lose you again," Sweet Pea admitted. I could see tears form in his eyes.

I leaned up to him and kissed his cheek gently.

"You have to let me go. I love you but I need to take time to myself. If it's meant to be then something will happen to let us know that we are bound to be together. But for now, you need to let me go," I tell him.

Sweet Pea nodded before hugging me tightly. I hugged him back quickly as I leaned my head onto his chest.

"Flight 105 to Chicago, Illinois is now boarding."

"I have to go," I tell Sweet Pea. Sweet Pea nodded before stepping back a little. My dad and brother gave me a quick hug and kiss on the head before I grabbed my stuff and walking to the gate. I waved at the three of them before walking inside the gate.
