Adeline's P.O.V

I was at home talking to my mom on the phone. I was catching her up on what was going on. I saw dad walk in with a smile on his face.

"Mom, I gotta go. I love you," I tell her.

"I love you too sweetie," She said before I hung up.

"What is it dad?" I asked.

"Do you remember Mrs. Jones? Jughead's mom?" Dad asked me.

"Yeah. Why?" I asked him.

"Well she has Archie and is asking us to help him," Dad told me.

"So we're going?" I asked him with hope.

"Yes. Come on. Let's go. Bring Vegas as well," Dad told me. I nodded at him before grabbing my purse. I walked out to see FP standing by with his motorcycle. Dad had another motorcycle in the back of his truck.

"You too FP?" I asked.

"Yup. Let's go," FP said.

When we made it to Mrs. Jones's place in Toledo, I knocked on the door, ready to see my brother. Jughead opened it making me smile.

"Dad? Adeline?" I looked over to see Archie standing up.

"Archie!" I said before jumping onto him and giving him a hug.

"I've missed you so much, Dad. I missed you too, Adeline," Archie said.

"Me too, son," Dad said.

I helped Archie dye his hair black to make him unrecognizable.

"You know just because you changed your hair, doesn't mean people still can't recognize your face," I said before patting his face a little.

"I know but it's just for the mean time," Archie smiled at me.

"Archie, there's something I need to tell you," I said.

"Oh god. You're not pregnant are you?" Archie asked, standing up straight.

"Dear god no. I had a seizure at school the other day," I tell him.

"What?!"

"I don't know what happened. The whole River Vixens just dropped and had seizures. Cheryl was the only one who didn't have one," I tell him.

"Are you okay now?" Archie asked before hugging me.

"Yeah. I just thought you should know before you head off," I tell him. I pulled away from the hug before ruffling his now black hair.

"Thanks for telling me," Archie said.

"Let's go. You have a long walk ahead of you," I said.

We walked back out to the truck where dad was. Dad handed Archie a dufflebag filled with supplies to help Archie out.

"Here you go," Dad sighed. I stood next to him as we stared over at Archie.

"It's the last stop before the border," I tell Archie.

"Yeah."

"You know, I was thinking. I could go with you. We could do this together," Dad said. Dad told me about letting me go with mom in Chicago as Dad and Archie did this.

"Find a cabin in the woods?" Archie asked him.

"Yeah. Teach you carpentry, like my old man did me," Dad told Archie.

"Imagine that. Us. Living off the land, father and son. What about Adeline?" Archie asked dad.

"I would live with mom for a while," I assured him.

"Hunting, fishing. It would be great," Dad tells Archie.

"Yeah, it would be. But, uh, you know we can't do that. Right, Dad?" Archie said. Dad nodded at him.

"I can't change your mind, get you to come back home?" I asked Archie. Archie shook his head before giving me a hug.

"But you can give me your blessings," Archie said to us.

"I was your age when my father passed away. I never got to say goodbye..." Dad said.

"This isn't goodbye, Dad," Archie interrupted.

"You're damn right, it's not," I said as Dad hugged Archie.

"See you soon?" Archie said.

"Yeah, you will," Dad said. Archie looked over at me.

"See you later alligator?" Archie started. I smiled and chuckled at him.

"In a while crocodile," I finished.

"Oh, one more thing," Dad said. He opened the back door to let Vegas out. I squatted down before petting Vegas one last time.

"Bye boy," I said before kissing his head.

Dad and I stood together before watching Archie walk off. Dad and I got back into the car before driving back to Riverdale. However, by the time we got back home, Riverdale was now under quarantine.
