Adeline's P.O.V

"YOU DID WHAT?!" I yelled in anger.

Archie and Beckham came back with some bruises that I had to fix up. I was not very happy at the two. Archie had asked me to meet them back at the gym.

"Adeline-"

"Don't you Adeline me, Archie! You two did a stupid ass drug bust? What did you want two want to achieve by this?" I asked them.

"We were trying to help out Mad Dog."

"I don't give two shits Archie!"

"Adeline, can we talk at least?" Beckham asked me.

"I need to cool off first," I said before walking out.

The next day, I heard about Baby Teeth which I felt sad for Archie and his gym friends. I had talked to Archie first since he lived with me. It was easier to talk to him first. Then I was able to Beckham at school.

"I'm sorry for helping your brother the other night."

"It's okay. I understand that you want to be on my brother's good side," I tell him.

I noticed something white from the corner of my eye. I looked over to the side to see Cheryl with Evelyn, Kevin, and Fangs all dressed in white as they walked down the halls. That was a first. Cheryl always wore red. Even during Jason's funeral, she had something red on her.

"I am going to talk to Toni for a bit," I tell Beckham.

"Alright. I'll see you soon," Beckham told me before kissing my cheek. I walked over to Toni who wasn't wearing an all white outfit.

"What's up with Cheryl joining a cult?" I asked her.

"I honestly don't know."

"I talk to Betty about this."

"Oh I will."

After school, I walked inside Archie's El Royale gym. I saw Ms. Alice setting up with her camera crew.

"Hey, Ms. Alice," I said.

"Hello, Adeline. It's nice to see you again," she smiled at me.

"Are you here to help promote Archie's gym?" I asked her.

"Yes and to help him and Veroncia announce something," she explained to me.

"Can I stay and watch?" I asked her.

"Of course you can. Just stand behind the camera," Ms. Alice told me.

"I can do that," I smiled. I stood behind her camera man to watch what Archie and Veronica had to say about their new gym.

"And we are live in three, two, one... This is Alice Smith, and I am here with Veronica Lodge, promoter of the Southside's El Royale Boxing Club. Veronica, would you like to tell us about your latest business venture?" Ms. Alice asked Veronica.

"Our athletic facility will help you reach your fitness goals in a fun, classic, competitive environment. Our trained staff features some of the toughest fighters in the state, including up-and-coming boxer Archie Andrews. Archie?" Veronica asked.

"Hi, I'm Archie Andrews, owner, trainer, and fighter here at the El Royale Boxing Club. Join now, and your first three personal training sessions with me are completely free. I got one more thing to say, a message for Randy Ronson. This Friday night at the Gilded Gloves, I want my rematch. Me and you. Let's settle this for good," Archie said.

"Strong words from a local hero. Live from the Southside, I'm Alice Smith, RIVW."

I gave Archie a look. A disapproving look. Archie walked up to me as I crossed my arms at him.

"What the hell are you getting yourself into this time?" I asked.

"It's about getting vengeance for Baby Teeth," Archie told me.

"Archie, do you even know what you're getting yourself into?" I asked him.

"Kinda. And I was hoping that you'd be there for me. I know I've put you and dad through a lot but you're the reason why I always fight through. When I was gone, I thought about getting back to you because you're my little sister and I need to protect you," Archie told me.

"This isn't the best of protecting me, Archie. And besides, I'm pretty sure I can defend for myself," I tell him.

"I know you can, Adeline but I don't think I can accept it until I see it," Archie tells me. I shook my head at him before walking off.

As I walked out of the gym, I got a phone call from someone. I checked my phone to see Beckham calling me. I quickly answered to see what he wanted.

"Hey, babe," I said.

"Hey. I have something crazy to tell you," Beckham told me.

"What is it?" I questioned.

"So my family came by to check up on me and brought an old yearbook to embarrass me. Really quickly, my family is in town and I'd like you to meet them. But anyway, I looked through my old yearbook and you'll never guess who I found," Beckham told me.

"Who?"

"Evelyn. That creepy chick from school who's in that cult."

"Okay?"

"That's not the weird part," Beckham told me.

"Then what is the weird part?" I questioned.

"My yearbook is from my freshman year. Evelyn was a junior. Which means that she's been a junior for like two years. That's weird right?"

"Beckham, I'm gonna need to see your yearbook soon. I'll call you back though," I tell him.

"Okay." I quickly hung up before recalling someone else.

"Betty. It's Adeline. I don't think Evelyn is our age and I have proof. Meet me at my house in thirty minutes."
