A/N: The Mars Opportunity Rover launched on July 7, 2003. It landed on January 25, 2004, and sent information it found during the time it was active. It was only supposed to be on the planet for 90 days, but it stayed there for almost 15 years. After 14 years, 46 days of activity, NASA has deemed the mission 'over'. It ceased contact on June 10, 2010, its last message being, "My battery is low and it's getting dark." Endy felt the need to give 'Oppy' a farewell. To see yourself in all things. Meant to last three months, But carried on for years, Glide across the sands, Without reserve or fear.
Dead, but not forgotten. Far away, but never gone.

When we review the books, We'll find you in the pages.
And one day, when we journey to the stars, We'll come home, And we'll have you in our arms.
