Connor fidgeted with his hands, folding them one-over-the-other as Amanda listed off their cues, 'just for reference'. Connor, in a pink dress and long braided wig, was embarrassed. But it was for Simon.
Simon was smiling at Connor apologetically, holding his hand above a frilled shoulder. Markus smiled at Connor, waving. He leaned over to Hank, "Your son is a good kid. You did well." He whispered. Hank's eyes went wide, nodding. "I'm real proud of 'em." "You should be. He stood up for Simon when no one else would. That means a lot, to all of us.
The crew memebers we're setting up, Jack flitting around after Atlas and Liz, Eleanor babbling to herself all the lines, and Julie looking out every-so-often to check the audience.
The stage and set managers were hyping up the actors— Dorian and Fenris especially.
Markus nodded, smiling at Hank, Carl, Nines (Connor's twenty-something brother), and Gavin. The show was going to be great.
