"Why is Connor in the school play?" Hank leaned over the armrest to Carl, narrowing his eyes st the playbill.
'Connor: Lead Male Actor' said the playbill. "I don't know, but he has been stressing over it." Carl responded. "Really? Damn. I shoulda noticed?" Hank questioned further.
"Well ya sure didn't." Markus chimed in, "Simon's backstage with him right now- he started crying a minute ago."
Simon, being led by Connor, ran out from backstage. The both of them were crying fucking oceans. Hank's eyes went wide, and he ran at the two of them, stumbling towards the two.
"I want to die!" Connor exclaimed, "They're making Simon kiss Traci, and they're both gay as hell so that fucking sucks- and he has to wear this dress and he's trans and that makes him dysphoric..."
Markus's eyes narrowed. He stood and marched up to the stage. He locked eyes with the director. "Why did you cast Simon a feminine role?"
The director (Amanda, Connor's 'biological' mother) sputtered, before baring her teeth at Markus.
"You will not question my play young man." She spat at him. Defeated, Markus marched back to the group.
