The next day...

Akshadh's POV

I rubbed my eyes, dismissing the ringing alarm on my phone. After waking up early, I practiced yoga and then took a refreshing hot shower. I stepped out into the corridor, newspaper in hand, and sat down to relax in the gentle morning breeze. The chirping of birds added to the serene atmosphere. I read the newspaper silently, taking in the news.

My phone rang, breaking the calm. I answered, "Hello?"

"Sir, I heard you're in the U.S. Don't forget to visit before you leave," the voice said.

"I'll be here for a week, and I'll definitely come by, Mr. John," I replied.

"Okay, sir, we'll meet then," he said before disconnecting the call.

I got dressed in a light blue shirt, covered by a dark blue overcoat, and matching pants. I ran my hand through my hairs, preparing myself for the day. With a final check, I was ready to head out for the training program.

I arrived precisely on time and took the empty seat beside Dhiya, who didn't acknowledge me. I didn't let it faze me. We sat in silence, and I found the wait to be unproductive.

The training officials arrived, announced the day's agenda, and divided us into pairs. Dhiya and I were grouped together, tasked with collecting and examining data jointly. They assigned us specific locations and handed us a contract to sign, agreeing to collaborate.

Dhiya looked at me quizzically, holding the contract and I wondered why? Was she hesitant to work with me, or was there another reason? I dismissed the thought, deeming it none of my concern.

She read the contract, signed it without hesitation, and handed it to me.

As I glanced at the contract paper, I was surprised to see our photos together. I read through it, signed below my photo, and handed it to the training officials.

According to today's plan, we were scheduled to examine cancer patients at St. Thomas Hospital. An awkward silence hung between us, and I knew we needed to break it to ensure a successful training program.

"Dhiya," I initiated, trying to sound friendly.

She looked up at me, attentive.

"Let's head to St. Thomas Hospital," I suggested.

She replied with a brief "Ok."

I found her curt response irritating, but I chose to ignore it. Just then, my personal assistant called and I instructed him on our destination.

Dhiya's POV

I wondered what was going through his mind. His voice lacked warmth, and his tone came across as commanding. I bristled at the idea of being ordered around like a servant.

Oh God, why did they pair us together?

I had no idea what to expect from this day. He strode towards our assigned car, and I followed, grabbing my bag. He claimed the front seat, leaving me to take the back seat.

A short while later, we arrived at the hospital. "What are you doing back there? Get out of the car! Are you a lazy bug?" he snapped, his eyes narrowing at me.

I felt a surge of indignation. How dare he speak to me like that?

"Hello, Mr. Akshadh, mind your words! I know what to do," I retorted.

He shrugged nonchalantly and walked into the hospital without another word.

Really, he is a rude person. He never knew how to behave with a girl. Whatever I knew about him through Net, media etc Is it true? I have a doubt about it. Media need only news so they will write anything about the person.

Oh shit! Where did he go? I stepped forward in search of him. Why is he behaving like this? Really, I can't manage myself with this type of guy. I searched here and there. He is irritating and fuming my anger.

I opened the door nearby and the scene captured in front of my eyes was worth watching it. The hall was filled with small children. A girl baby in his hand and he was kissing the little girl in her right chin. Then, She wrapped him around his neck and kissed him back.

I can't believe my eyes. Where did he hide this soft corner place in his heart?

Unknowingly, his eyes got stuck up with mine. He gestured me to enter in.

I went inside and some sort of happiness occupied me.

He left the girl down.

He introduced me to the children. I was looking at him strangely. His voice was very sweet. He had a smile between every word he pronounces. He mingled with them as a small kid. I was looking around and then him. It was surely not a hospital. Hopefully, this is an Orphanage. He brought me here and I was really happy about it.

He took his phone and ordered someone to bring dresses and food.

"Dhiya? Why are you standing here? Just mingle with the children, you lazy bug," He stressed the word bug. This time he talked slowly and sweetly that only I could hear.

I smiled at him. He seemed very cute and beautiful this time.

I bend down and tried to talk to the children. They didn't mind me. All are rushing towards Akshadh and I am wondering the scene by sitting down.

In between, someone brought dresses and foods.

"Thank you Mr.John for this help," he said sweetly.

"No problem sir. There is nothing greater than your help for this orphanage. You have not only helped the Tamil orphan people in the U.S but also the children from here. This service needs a big service heart and you had it. God bless you always " Mr.John said with happy tears in his eyes.

"I am doing it for my happiness Mr.John and I am grateful towards you always for making my mission success here. If you need dollars at any time you should inform me without any hesitation. Moreover, I will provide before you need. The only thing is that I should always want to see this happiest face of these children, I miss Allen a lot, How is she now?"

"Sir, No improvement, " frowned Mr.John.

"Ok Mr John. You can leave,"

I was looking at everything and wondering about his fluent help. How can a man provide service worldwide? Even the media didn't know about his worldwide services. They didn't write about it.

"Dhiya!! Come and issue these dresses and foods to children. Then they will mingle easily with you too, don't worry," he said in a gentle voice. I smiled at him again and he smiled at me back.

I distributed all the dresses and foods to children. As he said they mingle with me easily. Happy tears occupied me by seeing the happiness of the children. This day was a beautiful day in my lifetime. This is because of Akshadh, he was great really!!! People earned money and they force themselves to earn more and more for their own sake but Akshadh was different among them? He is earthly Savior to these children.

After issuing to children, I searched for Akshadh. I remembered Akshadh converse with Mr.John. He may go to meet Allen? Who is Allen? Why did he show special care to that child? I wished to see them immediately so I rushed towards them.

Meanwhile, I got a call from training officials. I didn't attend their call because we didn't go to Thomas hospital. Without knowing Akshadh opinion I couldn't make any decisions regarding the training program.
