I look around the room, somewhat confused. I'm alive.

I think.

I look to my right and see Liam, scrolling on his phone. "Li?" His head shoots up. "Hey baby. Are you hurting?" I nod. He stands to his feet. "I'll be right back okay? I have to go get a doctor." "I don't wanna be alone." I whine.

"Zayn's in the bathroom. He'll be right back." I nod, then shake my head.

"He...He hurt me."

"I know babe and I'm sorry but he's the only other one here right now okay?" I nod and he walks off.

The door opens seconds later and I hear whistling.

As he appears in my line of sight, he freezes, his whistling slowing down.

"Kelsey! Are you okay? Does anything hurt? You remember me right?" I nod.

"Yes you're hurt, yes you're okay, or yes you remember me?"

I nod again, hoping he'll catch on. "All." "Where do you hurt at?!" "Liam went to get the doctor. Calm down." "So you DO remember me?" I nod. He smiles a little then frowns. "What?" "So you remember what I did...Er not really what I did but what happened?" I nod.

It falls into an awkward silence until Liam and the doctor entered.

"We'll give you some medicine and then you're gonna get an X-Ray done, okay?" "That won't hurt her will it?" I roll my eyes. "No Dumbass. X-Rays don't hurt." I mumble crossing my arms.

-Liam's POV-

They put Kelsey in a wheelchair and leave with her. "Is she gonna be okay?" "Yeah I think she'll be fine, mate." I say, looking over at him.

"You didn't cheat. Did you?" He shakes his head. "Didn't think so. So what happened?"

"Me and Kelsey went out for drinks and so I started getting really drunk. I went to get some more to drink and this girl came up to me. I thought she was Kelsey; She was dressed the same, same hair color and style and kinda looked like her in the face.

"Anyway, she walked up to me and I realized it wasn't Kelsey. But when I went to push her off, she had my arms held down and I couldn't really move." I nod. "I could tell when we talked earlier that you didn't do it. You seemed so...innocent. I don't know. I could just see it in your eyes."

He nods, looking down at his lap. "Do you think she'll believe me?" "I don't know...I hope so."

-Zayn's POV-

The doctor comes back in with Kelsey in her wheelchair an hour later. "The poor thing fell asleep during." He goes to lift her up but I stop him. "I've got her." I lift her up and carefully place her on the bed. Her eyes flutter open and our eyes lock for a second before I back away and pull the blanket over her. "Thanks." "You're welcome babe." I press a kiss to her forehead. "I love you." She smiles a little, closing her eyes again. "So, turns out she has a few broken ribs and a sprained ankle." My fingers rub up and down her arm, not believing what my girl has to go through.

"Is she going to be okay?" "She'll be fine Mr.Malik." I nod and look down at her.

The doctor excuses himself. "I'm going to head out Zayn. You coming?" "Nah...I think I'll stay the night." "Alright." He walks over and gently rubs her arm. She opens her eyes and gives him a warm smile. "I'm going home babe. I'll be back tomorrow morning though okay?" She nods and kisses his cheek. "I love you." "I love you LiLi." I tense at their exchange and stare at her. She turns to glance at me and I give a crooked smile, hoping she buys my fake happiness. "See ya Zayn!" "Bye."

"Zayn?" "Yeah babe?" She visibly flinches when I say 'babe.'

"What time is it?"

"2:30." "A.M.?!" I nod with a laugh. "Why aren't you home?" "Because you aren't."

She looks up at me. "Why...Why did you tell me you loved me when you really don't?" I ask, my voice breaking.

"What?" "You told me you just said that you loved me because you felt bad for me...Why did you continue to go through with it? Did you not see how much I actually love you?! Was my proposal just a joke? It was funny to you, wasn't it?"

She blinks once.

Then the tears roll down her cheeks. "What's wrong?" "I do love you, you idiot!! That's the problem! I DO love you, but you hurt me! That was easier to say than to think the one person I loved hurt me!" She sobbed. "Baby...I didn't...I didn't mean to hurt you. I love you. I wouldn't do that." "But you did!" "No, baby, you don't understand." "I don't understand that you cheated on me?" "Baby I-" "Stop calling me that! You don't have the right." "Kelsey...Please." I beg, tears coming from my eyes. "I love you so much." "Zayn, don't you dare try to guilt me into taking you back." "Wha-I'm not. I just...I want you to know I wouldn't do that...I wouldn't." She rolls her eyes and looks away from me.

I hear her quiet snores thirty minutes later.
