Eudora lay back on her bed in the annex with a slight groan, it had been a long night and she had successfully brought Bonnie to Grams where both the elder Bennett and the youngest Allegra explained to Bonnie what needed to be said. Though that did not change the fact that Stefan had just text her to inform her that Damon was free and Elena Gilbert knew the big secret. Things in Mystic Falls were about to change, that much was certain.
Now that she was home, she dressed quickly in a warmer outfit and was instantly on her way out. Thankfully, her parents continued to be lenient, not truly certain what to do about having a daughter who went out on her own. The Allegra daughters had never previously been seen out on their own, they were always with someone else. Now Eudora wondered down Elena Gilbert's road after having parked a street over.
Standing In the dark shadow of the house, was Stefan Salvatore and she made her way over to him, crossing her arms over her chest as they merely stared at one another. He had called her to meet him in the midst of his panic though now he didn't know why he had called her. However, her presence in front of him was truly relaxing, it calmed him instantly though it allowed his strong expression to drop, revealing his sad eyes that watered now. How had he messed everything up so greatly?
"Stefan" she breathed out, her voice like music to his ears and his eyes fluttered closed. The next thing he knew, arms wrapped around his waist, they were warm and a head pressed to his chest. He could not help himself as his arms wrapped around her, her hair fluttering over his hand, relaxing him and for reasons unknown, he suddenly felt a million times better as she held him.
"Eudora" his voice was a ghost but her eyes closed at the sound of her own name on his tongue. The emotions they both felt were foreign to them, it was paranormal. In only a few weeks, they felt a strong sense of protection over one another and something more, something neither of them could recognize because they'd never felt it before and without one another, they'd never feel it again. It was bliss.
"You can't stay here forever Stefan" she responded to him when she pulled back slightly and he looked into her eyes and knew she was telling the truth. He believed her, trusted her.
"I can't leave her here without protection."
"Nobody said anything about leaving her unprotected" Eudora smiled sadly.
"What?"
"You know where I live?" she wondered and he nodded slowly, having dropped her off a few times. "Here are the keys to the annex" she informed and handed them to him softly, he'd been invited in by her a while ago when she'd quickly popped home to collect something and he joined her. "Go there and shower. There's some of Tyler's clothes in my closet from when he stayed over. Then hunt and rest. When you're done, you can come back." she informed him.
"No, Dora, I'm not leaving you here"
"You can't protect her if you're weak Stef, you need to be at your best." the blonde girl smiled and before he could protest, her hand placed over his mouth. "I am not taking No for an answer." she responded and he shook his head slightly, completely flabbergasted.
