Eudora huffed to herself softly as she looked out over the water, it looked so peaceful in the sunlight as it glittered, it could almost fool them into thinking that they weren't on a dangerous island in search of a cure. But the panic that was eating at her in the absence of Bonnie and Jeremy was enough to remind her of all that was occurring around her. Elena filled in Caroline, Tyler and Klaus in the home base and Eudora could only hope that Elva and Acacia were somewhere safe, far away from all the stress and worry.
Stefan stood at the blonde witches side, listened carefully to the conversation happening over the phone though his attention was on Eudora and her unreadable expression. She had always been so good at hiding the way she was feeling but that wasn't necessarily a good thing, it hurt him to know that she felt the need to hide from him.
"Once Caroline finds the sword, she'll phone us back" Elena informed, sliding her phone back into her pocket while Eudora shook her head.
"That's ridiculous. Klaus is with Elva, he loves her and this whole confusion if about Bonnie! Elva's cousin, or did you forget that? Stop being so scared of him, he is a different person now, I am phoning him" she informed and Stefan looked at her in worry but she knew that she was being absolutely honest. There wasn't time to be petty and distrustful.
"Klaus" Eudora greeted when she answered the phone, the witch stood on a tall rock to boost her signal.
"Dora" he returned and she couldn't help but smile slightly, it had been a very long time since the two of them had seen or spoken to one another, and despite the situation, his voice was welcoming. Somehow, after everything that had happened- Klaus had become one of her friends.
"Listen, Bonnie is missing. I need you to tell us where the sword is, because if anything happens to her-" she paused, not even wanting to consider the possibility. "I know you love Elva, so I just need you to stop trying to be the bad guy all the time, just do this for her. It's all I'm asking, nobody is going to do anything to you, okay? We won't force-feed you the cure or... Whatever it is you think they will do... Elva is your shield Klaus, I just need you to listen."
"I will send Caroline to get it" he huffed. "...Eudora, have you-- Did you know that soulmates can get pregnant... even if one of them is a vampire" he questioned uncomfortably and she frowned, turning her gaze to face Stefan.
"Um...Yeah, we've... We've worked that one out... Why, Klaus?"
"Now's as good a time as any to tell you I suppose" he chuckled awkwardly and she blinked at nothing. "That's why Elva didn't come back to Mystic Falls with me, she's with Elijah and Acaia in New Orleans."
"Wait-" Eudora started. "Elva's pregnant?"
"Yes love, that is what I said" he hummed and she blinked.
"Wow"
"Yes so keep yourself in one piece on that island, my child deserves a better auntie than Rebekah" he mocked and she laughed softly.
