Alaric, Elena and the two remaining Allegra witches walked together through the underground tunnel system. Eudora was attempting to integrate her older sister into their insane lives and they wanted her help in order to read some symbols, it was a question of whether they were witch related.
"So the Lockwood's have no idea that these tunnels are underneath their property?" Elena was just as surprised as the blonde witches.
"Yeah; careful where you shine that thing. Bats hate the light." Alaric called back over his shoulder and the only brunette froze.
"Wait. What?"
"Elena" a breathe whispered and while Eudora rolled her eyes, Elena jumped a foot in the air. Damon had an incredibly large smirk plastered on his lips when they eventually turned to face him.
"God. Damon"
"Scaredy cat" he smirked and winked at Eudora before turning to take in Elva.
"Just ignore him." Alaric called and they all smiled. "That's what I do"
"Does nobody else think this is weird?" The raven haired man pointed at the older Allegra who rolled her eyes, the expression was vividly similar to those made by Eudora on a regular basis and it solidified that they were in fact siblings.
"So you really can't get in?" Elena questioned, taking the topic off of Elva. The raven haired man had not been told who Elva was to klaus or why she had been brought back because the information was not safe to be shared with him. They didn't know what he would do with the knowledge.
"Nope. Seems even the ancient Lockwood's were anti- vampire"
"Good, means they were sensible" Eudora beamed and he scoffed as they continued down the tunnel.
"What do you mean ancient?"
"See for yourself" Damon beckoned and they all exchanged suspicious glances as they followed. "This is as far as I get to go" they all filtered through into a cave and Elena's torch light brought up some images on the wall.
"What is all this?"
"Well, as far as I can tell, it's a story" Alaric informed and Eudora walked closer to it, some of these she recognised and she couldn't be sure why.
"This one" she pointed at it and they looked over at her with a frown before she turned to them, pulling up her shirt, she found the exact same image carved into her skin over her ribs. "It means witch"
"In simple archeological terms. It's a really really old story" Elva sighed "our family taught us some of these but not all. "
"Well get translating witches, we don't have all day"
"This right here" Elva pointed. "Is a moon cycle. A man. A wolf"
"A werewolf?"
"Yeah. The Lockwood diaries." Damon smirked. "Pictionary style"
