Eudora whistled to herself as she stood beside the stove in the Salvatore kitchen. It was of course , very expensive, like most things they owned. But unfortunately, it also happened to be very unused, and so, she spent the morning making pancakes for the house occupants though she was sure they wouldn't eat them."Hey, good morning" a voice breathed into her ear, his arms circling around her waist from behind and she was pulled flush against his body. Smiling with a hum, Eudora leant back into Stefan's toned body as she continued to make breakfast and he pressed a kiss to her temple before turning to make some coffee.
"Eudora" a voice called and for a second, she was shocked to hear her full name being used. Oddly, it came to mind that she might be in trouble before she giggled off the idea and looked up at Elena Gilbert. The second she saw Elena's face, her friendly smile of welcome dropped.
"What Elena? What is it?" She dropped the spatula onto the marble countertop as Stefan turned around in confusion and Damon appeared to wrap an arm protectively around his girlfriend.
"Dora, I couldn't stop it, not even if I wanted to. She would've just done it even without my help"
"What are you talking about Elena?" The blonde witch demanded as her anxiety rose and Stefan stepped closer to her in concern.
"It's Esther... the reason she wanted to talk to me. She wants to kill her family. She's linked them all together. If something happens to one of them... it happens to them all" Elena spoke slowly, as if trying to explain something to a child and Eudora continued to stare at her as if she hadn't heard her at all.
In the next moment, Eudora went walking on passed without a word, her face completely unreadable and Stefan followed her, leaving behind a anxious Elena and a protective Damon. Upstairs in Stefan's room, Eudora was sifting through grimoires the second he entered.
"Eudora?" She ignored him. "Dora?" And again. The former ripper took the room in five easy strides and crouched down onto the rug beside her, taking her face in his hands and pulling her gaze over to him. "Tell me what you're thinking"
"I'm going to undo the spell" she spoke simply, her voice hollow and he frowned, inspiring more words from the blonde girl. "Stefan, I know you all think that Klaus deserves death but if he died now, so will Elva and Elijah which means Acacia... I can't let anything bad happen to them, I'm sorry"
"Hey, hey" he grabbed her attention again. "You don't have to apologise to me okay? We're a team, I'm on your side no matter what and I refuse to let them die either. alright? We have time, we can sort this out" he promised her sincerely and her eyes fluttered closed briefly under her soft touch. "Take a breath okay?" He prompted and she nodded as he pulled her close to his chest, cradling her calmly as though her family was not at risk of death in this very moment.
Their moment of calm was next interrupted by Eudora's phone ringing loudly, seeing her cousins name, she pulled it straight to her ear. The blonde girl hadn't seen her cousin in a few days, the Bennett witch occupying her time by getting to know her mother. Unlike her half sister, Abby Wilson actually wanted something to do with her child.
