"Tonight is the full moon" Elijah informed them all of what they already knew. Acacia sat beside him as though the words he spoke were golden. The pair had spent the week together and it had not gone unnoticed by the remaining supernatural population of Mystic Falls. Nobody was about to point it out however because despite the situation at hand, Acacia had never been so happy. "We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse."
"Elena said that the sun and moon curse is fake? That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus?" Stefan questioned. Eudora was currently sat in one of the armchairs in the library, flicking through the grimoire which would later be the source of her pain. The spell within it was certainly complex but they knew that they could complete it easily.
"Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline" Elijah informed them again. "The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it... he'll be a true hybrid" Eudora huffed, running a hand over her eyes because she knew how stressful the day ahead would be.
"Then why are we letting him break the curse?" Damon entered, clearly having been eavesdropping and Eudora stood up, moving to flop beside her aunt and show her a page in the book. "We can kill him today... with Bonnie"
"Damon..." Stefan trailed off in warning.
"Bonnie can't use that much power without dying" Elena informed.
"That's what Eudora is for" he pointed out angrily.
"We need a full moon for the ritual Damon, unless you want Eudora to die like she almost did last time. We're taking every single precaution to preserve everyone" Acacia stressed.
"Eudora already agreed to be sacrificed for the greater good" Damon pointed out, not truly meaning it and Eudora scoffed as Stefan shook his head. "I'll write her a great eulogy"
"Thanks Pal, appreciate it" Eudora mocked and he rolled his eyes at her.
"It's not an option Damon" Elena protected the blonde witch and it was safe to say that she was surprised by this. Something had changed within Elena since finding out that Eudora was basically a slave to Stefan. It was as though Elena respected her more because she now understood why the witch couldn't keep away.
"All right, how do we break this curse?" Stefan questioned the important thing.
"Well, the ritual itself in relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know."Elijah stood up and began to pace, Acacias eyes followed him around the room.
"The moonstone"
"A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each" he continued.
