When Eudora awoke, she couldn't help but panic for a short moment when she noticed the absence of Stefan. A thousand thoughts flooded her mind like a swarm of bees and she was sure her heart thudded erratically along like a steam engine."Hey, hey" his voice was a soothing expression, like an instantly reliving pain killer and the heat that had built on her in panic dropped in a second, leaving her cold and dizzy and she knew that their connection had only been solidified under the acts of the previous night. Eudora had never felt so connected to any person. He was beside her in a second, hands taking her cheeks as he assessed her face for any cause of concern. The second she awoke, her heart had sky rocketed and he heard it from within the shower. Now he was currently dripping wet with a towel around his waist.
"You were gone" his heart panged with an aching sadness under the broken whisper of her words and he pressed his lips to hers in a gentle caress.
"I'm never going to leave you, Eudora" it was a stern promise, one he knew he would always adhere to because the thought of leaving Eudora Allegra shattered his heart into a million pieces. "Come and shower with me?" It was a split second decision, one he didn't realise he was making until it was done and she hesitated before nodding, allowing for him to take her hand and guide her into the bathroom.
Steam already filled the room and Stefan turned the heat down on the shower after a second thought as he entered and she hesitated again, for a mere moment before she followed him. Neither were sure what they were expecting, little showering was set to take place in the warm confines of the shower, their lips locked in under a second.
"Welcome Back to Chicago, Stefan" the voice of Klaus awoke Eudora and she found herself stretched across in Stefan's lap, the pair of them in the back of the black SUV. They'd been driving all day and night and now they had seemingly arrived at klaus' desired destination, shortly after morning had broken.
"What are we doing here?" The vampire asked the important question as the cool temperature bit at Eudora's skin, they were now congregated in a large, dimly lit warehouse and she avoided her desire to shudder. It was all dull brick and concrete flooring. Unconsciously, the witch pulled her hair close around her shoulders, a blanket against the cold.
