Alex's POV
I woke up earlier than expected this morning. I tossed and turned all night which probably drove Michael crazy. I know Michael said he wanted us to hang together but I don't want to wake him up this early. All of the boys are still asleep and I try to be as quiet as possible. They deserve the rest. Michael has both of his arms under his pillow and his face is planted into it. "Mikey, Mikey." I sweetly whisper shaking him gently. His tired eyes slightly open immediately and I smile at his bedhead. "I'm going home to get ready. Call me whenever you get up, I don't care when that is." He shakes his head at me, still half asleep. "Okay, just come back later. Love you." He mumbles drifting back to sleep. I had called my dad earlier to come pick me up since I drove Ash's car here last night. He honks and I hurry outside.
In the car, I feel exhausted and I fiddle with the sleeves on Michael's flannel. My dad notices my nervous gesture and breaks the awkward silence. "How did everything go last night?" He asks and I'm happy that I don't feel the need to lie. "Really good." I give him a sincere smile. I begin to tell him about beating Luke, Calum, and Ash in volleyball and how Ash managed to perform every song on the Ipod with the pool noodles. I can feel my cheeks hurting from smiling so much. "Make sure you bring everything up today, and maybe you won't have to go anymore." He adds in and I nod.
Michael's POV
I wake up to the sound of Luke and Calum yelling at the TV playing FIFA. They're in the other room being loud as hell and I already know I'm the last of the boys to wake up. I don't know what time exactly Alex left or what time it even is now but I already can't wait to hang out with her again. It felt good to sleep in my own bed after all this time. Alex kept hogging the duvet all night but the times I did wake up, I just let her have it.
I roll over to grab my phone from the floor and there's something covering it. It's Alex's bikini top. I sit up and instantly recall giving her my flannel last night. I don't really remember much else though. I don't see my flannel anywhere around the room so she must still be wearing it. I think to myself that she has nothing on under my flannel. My sweatpants start to feel tighter and it makes me not want to get out of bed even more. Fuck.
I lazily walk into the living room and Calum and Luke are still being loud. There's no way that I'm the only one who is slightly hungover. "Hey sleepyhead." Calum grins cheekily and I groan walking towards the kitchen connected to the small living space. "Does anyone know what time Alex left this morning?" I ask, making myself some toast. "This morning? She stayed last night?" Luke asks. "Yeah, mate. She didn't want to leave all of our drunken asses alone." Calum chuckles and Luke still looks confused. "You didn't make her sleep on the couch, did you?" Luke is the boy form of Alex. They both worry so much and are always so sensible. He's such a good boy and I always tease him for it. "No, of course not. She slept with me." I end the conversation and head back into my room to grab clothes so I can shower. Calum comes in to finally unpack his suitcase and I look up to find him staring at me.
He notices Alex's bathing suit top on the side of my bed and a smile fills his face. "Wait a second." I laugh knowing what he's thinking. "Mate..." he cuts me off before I can even answer. "Did you guys fuck?" I punch him in the arm and he pouts his lips. "You're kidding me right? That would never happen." I say and I can't help but smirk as Calum winks at me. "Well you didn't have to hit me. You're such a dick." He says to me rubbing his upperarm.
I get out of the shower and put on a simple black Metallica tank and black shorts. I'm too lazy to do anything with my hair so I put a black snapback on over my head. The boys all left to be with their families so the house is so quiet. Too quiet. I begin to shave my face then I sit on Twitter while I wait for Alex.
