You and Lea were walking around the streets of Twilight Town after a night out at the Bistro. The two of you had an amazing dinner, followed by sea salt ice cream and a movie. Lea put his arm around your shoulders and brought you close to him in a half hug, admiring how excited you were talking about the new movies being released in town. He could listen to you ramble on and on about anything at all; he loved the way your eyes would grow big, and your smile was so contagious.

Turning the corner to the back alley, you heard a small whimper near the trash cans that made you stop in your tracks. Lea tripped a little, not expecting you to stop short on him. "What's wrong?"

"Did you hear that?" You stopped and listened closely.

"Hear what? All I heard was you talking about—"

"Shh! There it is again!" You walked towards the garbage can to what looked like an empty box with newspapers around it. As you got closer, you saw two ears perk up and small poof of black fur. "Oh my goodness, Lea! Look! Poor baby!"

Lea walked up next to you and peered into the box to see a small puppy trembling. You quickly kneeled down next to the box and picked the puppy up from its small box and cradled him close to your chest. "What kind of heartless person would do something like this?!" The puppy started to calm down as you held him, giving you the biggest puppy eyes ever and making your heart melt. "Lea, we have to take him home with us."

Lea scratched the back of his head, thinking of what to do. When you and the puppy both looked at him with big eyes, he knew he couldn't say no to the two adorable faces staring at him. Not that he was going to, anyways. "Okay, okay. He can come home with us. Let's get him something to eat, first. Poor little guy looks starved."

The two of you walked to the grocery store down the block and made your way to the pet aisle to pick up food, bowls, and a couple toys for your new "roomie". The puppy was much more relaxed while being held in your arms than before; he even looked like he was smiling at the two of you. Once you got home, you placed the puppy down onto the ground and he started running around, slipping on the hardwood floors and sniffing every inch of the place. '

You squealed and jumped onto Lea, hugging him around his neck. "Awww, Lea! Isn't he so adorable??"

"He's definitely a little rascal, that's for sure," he laughed as the two of you watched the puppy stick his head into the bag of groceries and getting stuck. "Hey, we didn't give him a name yet!"

"Oh, right! Hmm, what about Max?"

"Ehh, it's not original enough. How about Dodger?"

"Cute, but he doesn't look like a Dodger..."

The two of you sat on the floor as the puppy ran around in circles. "What about...Ollie?" As you said the name, the puppy stopped and jumped onto your lap in excitement. "I think he likes it!"

"Alright, Ollie it is!" Lea said, watching as you lifted Ollie up in air, Ollie barked and licked your nose, making you giggle. "Let's get to bed. We should get up in the morning to take him to the vet, make sure he's healthy and get him updated on his shots."

"Good idea. We should probably pick up a few more things for him too. Definitely a collar with a name tag, too!" You picked Ollie back up and carried him into the bedroom and placed him on your bed. The two of you quickly went through your nightly routine and settled into bed, with Ollie snuggled on top of the covers between you both, falling fast asleep.

"Naaaaaaaaaasevenaaaaaaa bababi bababaaa!"

"Lea... what are you doing with Ollie?"

Lea looked over at you wide-eyed, clearly not expecting to see you. He stood in the middle of the living room with one leg up on the coffee table and extended Ollie out in front of him. Oh brother, he was re-enacting The Lion King, wasn't he? "I was just... uhmmm. Hehe, c'mon I'm not the only one who's done this before!" Ollie wiggled a little bit in Lea's hands before giving him a few quick licks.

You rolled your eyes and smiled at your dorky boyfriend before walking out of the room, leaving Lea and Ollie to have their fun.
