Tyson was confused why but he agreed to pretend that he didn't know Tyler. As we walked up to the CEO's office, loads of people greeted Tyson and told me how cute he is. He had that face that was difficult to say no to.
The closer we got the more guilty I felt. What kind of mother tell her son to lie to her boyfriend? What kind of mother keeps the truth of his father from her boyfriend and her son? What kind of example am I setting for him?
''Hello Alex.'' Tyson greeted as he hugged him.
''Hello buddy. How was school?''
''Normal.'' He shrugged. I could see the jealousy in Tyler's eyes as he looked at Alex interacting Tyson.
''Tyson, this my friend Tyler.''
Tyler looked at me and I nodded. ''Hi.''
''Mommy can I show Tyler around?'' He looked at me with those puppy dog eyes.
''Baby I'm sure Tyler and Alex have work to do so-'' I was cut off by Tyler.
''No it's okay. I would love to get to know this young man.''
I nodded and they left. ''Hm. Don't you find it weird how they look like each other?'' My eyes widened and I shifted my gaze from the door to Alex. ''They have one of those faces.'' Alex nodded.
He walked over and pushed against the wall, kissing me passionately. ''Alex we can't.'' I said in between kisses. ''What if they come back? What if others hear us?'' I didn't want to be a buzz kill or anything but it just didn't feel right. Especially knowing my son could walk in any moment. Alex stopped holding me against the wall and gave me one last soft kiss. ''You're right it would be irresponsible to have séx at the office. It wouldn't be setting a good example.''
''So no more sex in your office?'' I asked him teasingly. ''Now, I never said that. Tyson is safe with Tyler, so why don't we get something to eat?''
I didn't like leaving Tyson alone but there was no reason I couldn't. Plus he was with his father and it would give them time to bond. I did owe this to Alex after turning him down. ''Sure.''
I grabbed my bag, and we made our way to the nearest coffee shop.
