Let's do this. I braided my hair into two cornrows, put on my black and neon green leggings and sports bar. I made my merry way to the gym. We all went down to England for Thomas's funeral. It wasn't the reason I wanted to go to England for the first time.

''James. Kadir. Are you ready?''

''Ma'am, I don't know. What if you get hurt Mr Grant will have our heads?''

''I have to agree, Ash and I don't like hitting women even consensually.''

''Please, I will take care of Tyler,'' looked from James to Kadir, '' and do you really want your one and only cousin out there defenceless?''

The floor was covered in mats and both men were barefoot, ''take off your shoes and socks, you don't want to hurt anyone or slip.''

''Okay, what now?'' I jogged up and down in one spot.

We spent about half an hour warming up and working out. I think they were hoping that I would tire out and call it day.

''You were trained by your father before,'' I nodded.

Kadir snaked his arm around my neck and I mustered all the strength I could and flipped him.

He got up. Mid-kick, Kadir caught my leg used to move my other leg, making me fall on my back.

We interlock our arms, pulling and pushing around the room. I remove one of my hands and place on his abdomen, pushing him to the ground.

''You can stop. You're good with hands and have a lot of upper body strength but we need to work on footwork.''

Kadir left, think I might have bruised him more then I intended.

''We see this punching bag,'' I nodded, ''I want you to kick it. Direct all your strength, power and velocity into the kick.'' I close my eyes and did it.

'' I close my eyes and did it
