Bat-Family Oneshots

NO I AM

"Does not" Tim argues, glaring at his younger brother with knitted eyes brows.
"He obviously does" Damian declares his glaring worsening. "Its only natural, for a parent to choose one kid over the rest, and since I'm his only blood child it must be me

"The only person that loves you" Tim says pointedly "is yourself"

Just then Jason comes in a leans against the doorframe "You know Demon spawn, the replacements right even your own mother prefers me over you"

"She does not!" Damian shouts angrily getting ready to lunge.
"She does and I have video to prove it" jason sings happily as he easily side steps his younger brothers attack.

Tim glares at the eldest in the room and shouts "No one wants to see your sextape, jason"

"Who said it was a sextape?" Jason says in mock innocence.

Damian huffs "this argument is useless, we all know im father's favourite whether your willing to admit it aloud or not"

"Doing everyone knows Bruce favours replacement over everyone" jason says edging on the argument with a smirk.

"It's nobody he doesn't favour anyone" Tim tries to reason again.

Jason laughs "well we all know the title of least favourite belongs to me"

"Your irrelevant, Todd" Damian sniffs

"What ever"

"Can we calm down we're all acting like children" Tim says some what calmly.

"Damian is a child" Jason cackles

"I am not!" Damian glares in his usual 'I'm about to stab a bitch' glare.

"Well done, you've angered him" tim face palms "Why are you even here, who let you out of prison?"

"Oh, the birdies are jelouse that I don't conform to a poorly constructed moral code, that the dearest daddy bats created"

"Just cause you were a psychopathic killer, doesn't make you his favourite" damian says boredly.

"You can go fuck yourself" Jason snears

"No need, i can get a girl any day unlike you" Damian sniffs

"Your ten" jason shouts

"And your a man whore"

"Brat"

"Guys!" Tim tries to interrupt

"Shut up, Drake!"

"Go to hell Damian!"

"Been there done that" Jason cuts in

"Can you just not?" Tim says

"I.."

Bruce walks into the room, and pinches his nose tiredly, then looks at three of his boys with a frown and says finally "Dick, Dicks my faviourite"

The three boys look at their father in shock, just then the boy in question walks into the room with a smile on his face, when he sees the look on his family's faces his smile falls.

Slowly he edges further into the room and slowly says "what's wrong? What happened?" The room stays silent for a few more seconds, when all of a sudden Jason bursts out laughing. Dick looks at him before he can say anything though he is cut off by Jason saying "I'd run if i was you, Damian's going to kill you"

As if in slow motion both Dick and Damion moved in sync. Dick Sprinted out the room top speed just as Damian lunged. Jason, Tim and Bruce stood in silence as they listened to crashes and clangs as well as some screams of terror amd pain.

Jason solemnly looked over at his father and says "Dick is going to hate you" Tim looks jason straight in the eyes and says "Never mind that, is Dick going to be okay?" They fall into silence listening to a few more screams of horror and Jason answers slowly in a tome that clearly means he's trying to convince himself as well "course he is, he's the fucking nightwing...right?"

About 15 minutes later the manor fall silent,  to say Bruce was worried about his eldest son was an understatement, but at the same time he had hope that his sons wouldn't be too damaged when they turned up. After all Dick was Damians faviourite brother and Dick wouldn't harm family unless necessary. But then again the younger of the two had some seriuos issues.

About half an hour after the initial fight Damian came storming into the Den, where Jason, Tim, Bruce and Alfree were sitting enjoying a warm cup of coffee and just relaxing. Jason who was reading a book marked his page and put his book down and Tim followed suit but closing his laptop when Damian entered. Bruce being the adult said "what's wrong, Damian?" The youngest huffed in annoyance "I have been unable to locate Grayson!" Jason laughs causing the already angered 10 year old to spit out "whats so funny Todd?!" Jason smothers his snicker and says "You wont be able to find him" Alfred being the only mature one in the room says "what Master Jason means is that when Master Richard does not wish to be found he won't" tim cuts in and adds "he's not know as the ghost hero for no reason, you know. Don't worry about it he'll probably be at dinner, when you have calmed down a bit" Damian hisses  what do you mean when i have calmed down?!" Bruce sighs and says "Dick has gone into hiding because you are out to get his blood because of the earlier arguement, but Tim is right he'll most likly be at dinner" Damian nodded ad went and left the room.

When dinner time came all the Wayne's bar Dick were sitting at the table eating. Damian who basically had steam coming out his ears said "i thought you said Grayson would join us for dinner" Bruce shook his head and was about to speak when jason cut in "No we said he'd probably join us if you had calmed down" Damian sniffed "I think he is just to scared to face me" Tim face palmed and said "No he's scared of hurting you, family means a lot to dick. I mean i know we all fight,but it's never serious. Dick relies a lot on family. He may seem like the only sane, non emotionally constipated person in this family but he isnt and we all deal with it differently and his is being surrounded by family, so when serious fights happen he disappears to allow everyone to calm dow so they dont do or say anything they regret"

Jason nods "what Replacement means is that just lik us Dick is fucked up and family is his life line. That and he doesn't want what happened between him and bruce to happen again" Damian nods "I believe i understand, when will Grayson appear again? I wish to apologise" Alfred answers "Breakfast if what you say is the truth and if it isn't he won't because you forget he can read everyone like an open book.

After dinner everyone retired to there rooms. Bruce lay on his bed and waited for his eldest son to appear. It didn't take long. In the silence of the room he heard a soft thud on his balcony followed by a small squeak of the door amd so appeared Dick Grayson.

Bruce say up and looked up at his sons grim face he didnt speak he just waited until the younger of the two did "How could you do that? Even if it was true which its not because they are better then me in every way, you don't say that!" Bruce look at his feet amd said "Im really sorry chum they were arguing, i didn't i tend to set damian on you" Dick sighed "its going to take a lot of grovelling you know that right?" Bruce smiled "I know chum, i know" and with that the young acrobat disappeared once again.

Leaving Bruce to his thoughts, it hurt his heart that Dick didnt think of himself a possibility of being his favourite because really its only a secret to the acrobat himself that bruce slightly favoured him to his anyone else and that's only because of the special bond they shared.
