Bat-Family Oneshots

Babysitting the waynes pt 2

The Leaguers were running around the house like crazy people in search of the boys, who had split up as soon as their father,  the godamed Batman, left the house. They didn't know what to do,  they had been looking everywhere and superman's powers were useless the walls seemed to be lined with a material that stopped him from using his xray vision and super hearing. Unable to do anything else they met up in the den and started to devise a plan. "I say we do another sweep of the house, if it doesnt work we wait until 2 then hit the streets" Oliver said, flash who was still panicking about what the bat would do to them asked "What if we are still unable yo find them?" Clark sighed "Then we have no other option but to call Bruce"

So that's what they did.  They ended up having to search the streets which took about 3 hours. So still unable to locate the kiss they headed back to the manor to call bruce. By the time arrived the clock struck 6. They started walking towards the kitchen when they heard 4 voices and laughter they ran into the kitchen and found the boy sitting around the breakfast bar chatting Dick was drinking wine and they all seemed to be laughing at a story Jason was telling. 

The leaguers stood shell shock and it wasnt until Dick spotted them "Oh there you guys are, we couldn't find you so we just ordered pizza, hope that's okay" oliver was the first to come out of shock "where we're you guys we looked every where" all four if the boys put on the best confused expressions "What care you talking about?" Tim asked "we were at archery range at the bottom of the gardens" the heroes looked between themselves, they had no way if knowing if the boys were lieing because no one had actually checked the gardens. So Barry just nodded and said "Sorry our mistake" the boys went back to there conversation.

Also an hour later the door bell rang and Dick and Jason answered it. Tim took everyone else into the dinning room. Both end seats were left empty be because thise were bruce and alfreds. (Seating arrangement below cause that boring. I know Alfie and Bruce not there but that there seats also i know that Green lantern isnt a founder but i just love his personality so muchand I have plans for him)

Once Jason and Dick arrived with food Dick took a box and placed it infront of the youngest and the rest of them in the centre.  Tim glared at Barry "Proper manors and only the at a time" Barry pouted "Why does the kid get his own box?" Damian sniffed and said "First of all I'm not a kid,  second off all im vegetarian"  Barry nodded in understanding and every one stuck in except for Dick on his phone.

Clark announced watched him for a while but eventually Oliver got fed up "Didn't Bruce or atleast Alfred teach you the no phones at the table rule" Damian glared at him and Tim answered "That is usually a rule" Hal was curiouse "What's so different now?" Jason snorted "Dickie is either Wayne business or checking the news to see who has to go out tonight"  Barry looked shocked for a second "You guys are still going out tonight?" Dick who had started paying attention again said "Obviously,  crime waits for no batman"

Jason nodded and added "and if this is a night that needs Batman Dickie will put on his one" Clark was confused "You are a batman as well?" Tim nodded "When Bruce got stuck in time Gotham fall apart without A batman, so Dickie had no choice but to put on the cowl and make Damian his Robin" Dick cut in "we don't need B it going to be pretty quiet. So Jay and I are going on a quick patrol and the other two are going to get ready for bed  they have school tomorrow"

Everyone nodded and went back to eating but something was bugging Clark "How do you know it's going to be a calm night,  you don't know the odd every villain or when they are going to be done"  Dick coughed "I have contacts" Barry who suddently got very interested said "Like double agents?" Jason started laughing "Dickie bird has many many skills 1. Making people trust him 2.Is making friends" Oliver looked confused "You made friends?" Tom nodded "with the villians" Hal was even more confused "How do you trust them" Dick confirmed " I dont, that why I'm friends with every villain to see if stories line up" Diana was slightly angry "But they they try to kill you on a day to day basis" Dick shrugged "We have an understanding" Barry gushed "what does that even mean?"

Dick sighed deeply before explaining "Okay look at it like this i have grown up since i was 8 years old fighting crime in gotham so what nearing 11 years on the streets. With these nut cases, its undeniable that i would have been captured and all that. Right so i obviously speak to these people, Have you met me i never stop talking? These mental cases have raised me, i went to Cat, ivy and Harley for dating advice. Pengiun helped me with my English homework, Joker talked me through a ruff patch with Bruce. Sure we fight eachother but thats the role of Good and Evil" the leaguers were gob smacked surprisingly Arthur was the first one To Talk "And Batman is aware of your 'friendships' with these people?" Jasom nodded "Oh yeah, B is aware of Dickies 'powers', what do you think made him test Dick for the meta gene" Dick sighed "Before amyone says anything i am 100% completely human, Bruce has checked...twice"

"Anyway Jay and I have got to go get ready" the eldest two went to get up when Tim said "If you take Damian and I Patrol will Go quicker" Dick signed "Fine, but you seven stay fin the cave. The rule of no others heros in Gotham still applies" and with that they were led through the office and the old grand father clock and the stairs into the well equipped cave
