When I got home, I took the baby from the babysitter and told her that she would have to come at 7 in the morning from now on. She seemed annoyed but I didn't care. I narrowed my eyes at her. She knew that if she didn't show up at 7, she wouldn't have a job.

"Thank you, goodbye." I shut the door in her face and hold my baby tighter to me.

I kiss him on the forehead and sigh. "Theo, are you willing to skip the rest of the day and watch Blaze?"

Theo looks at me and nods.

"Thank you," I say.

I hand him Blaze and I head to the kitchen and write down his schedule.

If he's asleep, don't wake him up.

If he's awake don't put him to sleep until it's nap time.

Formula as soon as he wakes up.

Lunch at 11:30 and then nap time at 12.

Bedtime around 7:30

No one can give him a bath.

If you do, I'll cut you.

No solid foods.

No peanut butter.

No nuts in general.

Don't yell at him unless he's done something wrong, and he never does, so you should never yell.

I hand the schedule to Theo and walk into the kitchen. I take out bread, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla. I put all of the ingredients, except for the bread, into a bowl and whisk it. I then put a pan on the stove and heat it up.

"Theo," I call. "Do you think everyone else will want French Toast?"

"Hell yeah!" He calls back.

I smile a little before putting a small piece of butter on the pan and dip the bread into the mixture while the butter is melting, then putting it on the pan.

I repeat the process, and when I finish, the entire loaf of bread is gone.

I place the French Toast into a container and tell Theo that they're still warm, but later whoever wants them needs to heat them up.

I head upstairs and change into a more comfortable outfit. I put on some Adidas sweat pants, an open back sports bra and my Sanoks.

I walk downstairs and see Theo and Blaze on the couch.

I kiss Blaze on the forehead and then wrap my arm around Theo's neck, hugging him from behind. "Thank you," I say.

He looks at me and gives me a small smile. "No problem."

"I don't know when I'll be back, but I should be around the area. I'm not taking my phone, so don't call," I tell him.

"Will you be by yourself?" He asks, concerned. "I can go with you. Maybe we can wait until-"

"No I won't be alone." I smile. "Khaos is going to be with me. He is one of the best forms of protection."

Theo looks at me for a while before nodding. "Be safe."

I smile in response and walk into the backyard. I don't see Khaos, so he is probably out catching something to eat. Even though he is my animal, he is not a pet. Even if he was, I'm not going to let him become less of a dragon because of it.

After about five minutes, I let my wings out and whistle for Khaos.

Even though the whistle is quiet, I knew that he heard me.
