It's been a few days and Laviana hasn't asked any questions and Adonis and I haven't gotten that much closer emotionally, but we've hung out more.

"The fuck are you doing?" I hear Adonis say from underneath me.

I look over the ledge of the roof, Hail, Crimson, Ryker, and Ace next to me.

I smile sweetly at Adonis. "Nothing."

I turn back to my dragons and smile. They have all grown since the death of their father which was about a week ago. When I first met them, they were able to reach my hips, but now they tower over me, about ten feet tall. Even though that's tall, I know they are going to grow even more since their father was about 300 feet tall.

Each sibling has something that they can control. Hail is water, Crimson is fire, Ryker is darkness and death, Ryker can also know the names of the deceased, cool, I know, and Ace is snow and the cold.

"You guys want to play tag?" I ask them and they all nod enthusiastically.

I spread my wings out and lift my self off of the roof and look at all the dragons before diving at Hail and calling out, "You're it!"

I quickly fly away and I hear Hail's siblings flying away from her and Hail trying to catch one of us.

I see a very dense tree and dove towards it, taking a quick look behind me to see if Hail was around. She wasn't so I quickly sat on a branch and tried to climb higher into the tree, but my wings were bumping into the branches making too much noise and causing a little bit of pain.

I take my wings in and start climbing the tree. I try to be as quiet as possible because my dragons have really good senses of hearing and I didn't want to give away my position.

As I'm climbing the tree, head a very loud whine and I chuckle. It was most likely Ryker. He's always a drama king. I keep climbing the tree, a small smile on my face before I freeze. I hear a rustling sound in the tree I try to be as stealthy as I can and get to the thing that's making all the sound. It wasn't an animal because the sound was too loud and we don't have big animals in New Jersey. I don't think it's any of the boys since they were all inside when I came outside and I saw Adonis sitting on a chair on the patio, watching us.

I see a little bit of blue crawl into my vision. Nothing that worries me, just makes me cautious. I climb a little more before I finally spot another figure in the tree. It was a man who seemed to be in his late twenties, early thirties. He was wearing camouflage and had a very large gun with him and granados strapped across his chest. My eyes narrow and I slowly start to remove my shirt, leaving me in my black bra.

The trunk of the tree was very thick so I wouldn't be able to do anything from the opposite side of the tree. I look around to see if the branches became thinner, but they haven't so I couldn't take my wings out.

I bite my lip, thinking, before putting my shirt in my mouth and start climbing to a branch that is above the hunters.

Since I have my wings in, he won't think I'm different, I think, smirking to myself.

I see purple flood my vision and my smirk widens. Keeping my shirt in my mouth, I let my body fall backwards, keeping myself up by my legs hooked around the tree branch.

The noise I make as I'm moving makes the guy quickly turn to me.

"Jesus fuck!" He yells, fist cocked, about to punch me.

My shirt still in my mouth, I smile. I take my shirt out of my mouth since it was covering my face and look the man in the eyes.

Brown. I said to myself. Mine are better.
