"This is stupid," I say.

"No it's not," Lucifer responds, flying next to me. "You need to know what you're the Angel of so you know what to say and what not to say."

I look at him but don't respond.

We continue flying, me mostly following Lucifer. The heat starts getting more intense and I almost stopped flying.

"Why is it so hot?" I pant.

Lucifer looks over at me. "Heaven is so pure, the light from the sun is the only thing that covers it."

"So you can only access Heaven during the day?" I ask.

"Yeah," Lucifer responds then grins. "This is why Hell is better. Open twenty-four seven. If you can find the hole of course. One in every state, or colony as other like to call it."

"Oh," I say, shocked. "Cool."

I look straight and I hiss.

"Yeah, right now it's best if you look down," Lucifer says looking down.

I mimic his movements and start flying blindly. "Isn't this dangerous? We can't see what's coming at us."

Lucifer nods but shrugs. "We need to have our vision. A few seconds or minutes of not looking straight ahead won't hurt, unlike being fully blind."

I think about it and nod in agreement. "How long do we have to fly blind?"

"Depends, it's different every time," Lucifer responds. "We'll pass a certain point and you'll know when to look up."

"How?"

"You'll feel it."

We fly for a few minutes until I feel a force. I tilt my head and try to fly through it.

I couldn't.

"Ky-" Lucifer starts.

"Shut up."

I fly back a little and put my arms in an X form in front of my head and fly full speed into the force. I made it past the force and look to my side, expecting Lucifer to be there. I turn around in confusion when I don't see Lucifer next to me and see him on the other side of the force with his mouth open.

"You weren't supposed to be able to do that," someone says behind me.

I jump and quickly turn around to see a man who looked like he was in his late 30's or early 40's. He wasn't wearing a toga like I expected. He wore jeans, a jean button up top, and dress shoes. I cringe at his outfit and then look him in the eyes.

"I'm full of surprises," I shrug.

"That is good, at times," he responds. "I'm Angelo."

Laugh at the irony.

"Nice to meet you, Angel," I say holding out my hand for him to shake.

"Aren't you going to tell me your name?" He asks, shaking my hand.

"You'll find out sooner or later," I respond.

I hear a pounding behind me and see Lucifer still on the other side of the force.

I laugh at him and fly over to him.

"Aw, is big bad Lucifer lonely over there?" I tease. "Maybe it's karma? After all, you are a dic-" I feel someone pull my leg, and I am yanked backwards.

"Why would you speak to the-" Angelo looks around and then whispers, "the Devil, like that? He could kill you with a snap of his fingers!"

I look at Angelo and burst out laughing.
