Alex's POV- March 2019

Doc had told me I would not be playing today, so I decided to get in a full workout before the game. After my work out, I was starving so I fixed myself up a plate of dinner and took a seat in one of the empty tables. Families were starting to make their way in since it was close to game time. 

"Hey"

I glanced up to see Nora, Chris' girlfriend holding a banana in one hand and her waterbottle in the other.

"Do you mind if I sit with you?"

I shook my head and watched as she took a seat across from me.

"Where's Chris?" I asked.

She smiled and shrugged.

"Don't know, I just got here"

"Does he know you're here?" I wondered.

"Yeah, I told him I was in the eating area"

She peeled her banana and took a bite of it.

"Were you working out?"

I nodded and took a bite of my dinner.

"So how'd your day with Sonia go?"

Before I could give her an answer, she waved someone over. That, someone, was CT.

"Hey, Bubs"

She smiled big at him as he approached us.

"Hey"

He gave her a quick kiss on the lips before taking a seat next to her.

"Hey, Duggie"

"Hey" I greeted as he reached over for her waterbottle canteen.

He took a few gulps of water before Nora spoke up.

"Alex was just about to tell me how his day went with Sonia"

He hummed.

"So what are your intentions with Sonia?"

Uhhh.

"Ignore him"

"Well I was hoping to get to know her more, but she went home," I said.

His brows furrowed as he looked at Nora who spoke up,

"Wait, what?"

"She went home" I repeated.

"When?"

"Yesterday afternoon" I answered.

"Why?"

I shrugged.

"I don't know, I guess she was upset from the night before" I replied.

Her eyes narrowed.

"She was fine when we left her with you"

Hey now.

"I didn't do anything, she dropped me off and then showed up about 2 hours later in tears" I said.

"Do you know why she was crying?"

Before I could reply, someone spoke up.

"Hey, guys"

I bit my lip as Cody took a seat across from me before waving someone over.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't Clara be in LA?"

Cody looked at Nora.

"She decided to stay until Friday"

Nora raised an eyebrow.
