somehow i'm still conscious.
"hoseok?" i whisper, unable to make much noise.
the position and the way the car had been thrown and my shitty lungs just made it almost impossible to speak.
no response.
his head still lays on the steering wheel, the horn blaring continuously.
i move as best i can, but pain strikes me everywhere.
i don't pay it any mind.
"hoseok! wake up!" my voice is strained as i shake him, trying to wake him.
i get nothing.
i move him slightly and undo his seatbelt.
"god please. please save him. take me instead. do whatever you need to but please save him. please save him don't let him die. don't take him yet. he hasn't lived. he hasn't grown. take me. save him. please."
i climb through my broken window and rush to the drivers side to get him out of the car.
"please lord please don't take him. don't take him from this world. not yet, don't take him."
his door is collapsed and i don't have to use much strength to just yank it off of it's hinges.
"c'mon baby. c'mon baby please. you can't die on me. not right now you're not ready. you can't go. you can't. don't take him lord. take me instead. please just save him."
i lay him on the ground and press my ear to his chest.
it's faint, but he's sill breathing.
"hoseok i don't know if you can hear me, but if you can i need you to listen to my voice and focus on that. please. you can't go to sleep okay? you can't. if you get tired, don't go to sleep. you need to stay awake for me, okay sunshine?"
his eyes flutter the slightest bit.
"now, i'm going to yell okay? i know you don't like loud noises but i have to yell just this once."
i readjust him, so i have a better grip.
and shout as loud as my voice can get.
"HELP ME. PLEASE HELP. SOMEONE PLEASE CALL 119. PLEASE."
as i'm shouting, the whirr of the ambulances siren sounds.
i'm guessing the other car called immediately.
my legs go weak and white dots my vision.
"p-please." i manage before collapsing with hoseok in my arms.
