My phone buzzes in my pocket, the Aerosmith song filling my quiet apartment. I quickly answer it on the second ring.
"Hello?" I say nervously.
"Princess," The sound of Evan's voice gives me relief "lets go do something. Anything."
What the hell!? Evan doesn't call me after what happened last nights and decided to wait until 2 o'clock to call me?
"You haven't called me since you terrified me last night! And you expect me to just go out and do 'anything' with you?" I say annoyed, crossing my arm. "Plus, you got so aggressive that you freaking scared me!"
"I had to attend some business this morning." Evan says dryly, "I wasn't able to get to my phone."
I huff. "Are you still angry with me?"
"I'm not angry at you, Brooke. I'm fucking pissed at Bob." Evan says calmly through the phone, "So do you want to do something?"
"When?" I sigh.
There's a knock at the door. Confused, I walk over and look through the peep hole. Holy shit. I open the door to see Evan standing there. He has a cut lip and bruised knuckles.
"Baby..." I say softly, grabbing his leather jacket and pull him inside my apartment. "What happened to you?"
I sit him down on my bed and rush to get a cold wash cloth. When I return, he still sits there patiently. He puts the cold cloth on his hands. Whoah, that's not bruises. It's blood and torn skin. My heart races.
"Baby, what happened?" I say urgently. "Did you fight Bob?"
Evan lets out a chuckle. "That would have been better. My damn cousin and I got into it cause I interrupt the family dinner last night—right as he was announcing his wife's first baby."
I can't help myself, I kiss him tenderly. His hands immediately go to my hips and he holds me tightly against him. I quickly take my glasses off and throw them on the bed so they won't get in the way.
"It's okay. I've got you now." Evan says softly to me, "Wanna go on a boat ride and swim? I haven't done that in ages."
"You own a boat?" I say confused.
"Drew does, but he never uses it." Evan says, "Wanna go?"
Smiling, I sigh "Let me get my bikini."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
             Drew's boat goes fast on the water. I hold onto Chase as Evan drives us a few yards away from the shore. I'm wearing my favorite polka dot bikini that I rarely wear anymore. Chase whines for me to let him go. Evan makes the smacking sound with his lips for Chase. I let Chase go as he goes to Evan, who puts a leash on him so he can't get off the boat.
              "Ready, Princess?" Evan says when he's done.
                "Take your shirt off!" I giggle, sitting on my feet.
                Evan shakes his head at me. "You don't wanna see this pasty chest in the sun. It's blinding. Go ahead, I'll watch."
                I pout but jump off—OH SHIT I FORGOT TO TAKE MY GLASSES OFF! I grab my glasses as they start to fall off. The cold water shocks my body. Quickly, I resurface and get back onto the boat. My body shakes from the cold water. I put my glasses on the table beside Evan. He sits back in the sun visor area with Chase and a bottle of cold beer. Evan smirks at me when he sees my glasses.
             Once again, I turn and do a mini run right before I dive into the ocean. The cold water shocks my body and leaves a stinging sensation all over my body. I climb back onto the boat and dive again. After the 10th time, I get bored. I climb back up once more and lay out on my stomach on the chair that is in the sun.
             The sound of the waves soothes me to the point where I nearly fall asleep. But the sound of Evan's grunts and footsteps wakes me up. He comes and sits beside me on my chair. Suddenly, I feel the back of my bikini being untied.
              "Ah, excuse me. WHAT are you doing?" I say confused, "I know we're a bit far from the shore, but that doesn't mean a boat couldn't pass by and see us."
                "I just don't want you to get a sunburn." He opens the sunblock and puts some in his hands.
                 The cool touch of the sunblock sends chills down my back as Evan runs it into my bare skin. And boy, does my Baby take his time rubbing it in. He half rubs, half massages my back with the sunblock. If it wasn't so relaxing, it would totally weird me out.
                  "You're really tense." Evan says as he rubs/massages my shoulders, causing me to feel a sharp pain. "I'm going to fix that later."
                  "With all the drama with your dad and—" I start but get cut off by Evan.
                    "Let's not even mention him. This is our time, Sweetheart. Don't let him be present here too." Evan's thumbs rubs deep into my shoulder blades, causing me to moan in pain.
                 And Evan chuckles at the sight of this. This kinky little—I jump at the feeling of my ass being smacked hard. I stare up at Evan in shock. Smirking like a little shit at his stunt he just pulled, he stands and walks back to his shades area and takes a drink of his beer. Shaking my head as I blush madly red, I close my eyes and go back to tanning.
