Austin's outdoor grill party was a smashing hit. A little over 100 people came. Women came in their bathing suits and men in their Hawaiian shirts and swim trunks. The sun is slightly going down after three hours of the party.
Evan stands with a bunch of Austin's male friends. Most are unmarried yet INCREDIBLY attractive to many of the women at the party. Evan stares at Brooke, whose across the pool with VERY pregnant Renee, Terri White, and flashy Lucy. Evan loves but hates Brooke's new bathing suit. It's too tiny on her, too flashy. But she refused to change and he did think she looked INCREDIBLY sexy in it. So he didn't budge. Stan White, Terri's husband, begins to talk about barbecuing on the grill.
"Shit!" Preston Hill groans, biting his lip. "Look at her."
Evan turns to the guys, feeling rude for not listening to their conversation. He turns more towards them. Drew rolls his eyes.
"Hill, you're always after some woman." Drew says annoyed.
"You know, Evan here used to be quite the player too." Preston slaps Evan hard on the back, "Right before Bonnie stole his man card."
Evan shakes his head. "That life is wayyy behind me now, guys. I'm happy with the woman I have now."
"I heard your with some youngin' now?" Evan chuckles and nods at Preston's words. "Tell me, how do you please a youngin? I mean I've been eyeing this tiny little thing ever since she arrived. She's got the big tits and fair sized ass. Dammnnnnnn. The things I wanna do to that tight little body. Any advice?"
Evan arches a brow, chuckling nervously as he shakes his head. "Well, it's not easy. My Baby was inexperienced and I kind of had to show her how to do things. It's best to take your time and don't rush the girl. They confuse the dirty talk and the foreplay as a sign of affection and get emotionally attached and expect more. So be extremely careful."
"So then what got you hooked in with this girl you have now?" Preston says, smiling. "Sounds miserable."
"My Brooke is a good girl." Evan smiles to himself, "I think I became emotionally attached before she had the chance. She's quite the heart stealer."
The guys quickly change the subject, hating how mushy gushy and soft Evan has become. They miss the carefree, player Evan Taylor who dated two girls at once just to see if they would be okay with a threesome. Stan nods, understanding how Evan feels now.
"You guys will find your woman one day." Stan comments, "Before Terri, I had so many women."
"Mmmm, yeah I know exactly what you're talking about." Andrew says annoyed, sipping his beer. "But Mariah and I lost our spark when DeShawn was born. You know? She don't do the good good for me anymore. Says DeShawn is all the chirran we need."
"DAMN!" Joesph says loudly, "See that pretty little thang over there? By the pool? Man, that's the one Preston's talking about! I'd hit that from the back, cuffed up so her hands can't wonder."
Johnny chuckles. "Man, why don't we just take turns? She's the hottest thing I've ever seen! Mmmm. Her friends are cute too. Talk about the fun we could all have."
Drew rolls his eyes at the guys. "Straight men."
Preston stares across the pool, grunting as he takes a drink. "I'd f*** that so hard, she won't talk straight before I can even finish."
Evan and Stan take an awkward drink from their beers. They won't engage in the bachelor's talk. They both have moved past that point in their lives where it's just sex and no feelings. Stan has his Queen Terri and Evan has his Princess Brooke.
"Who in the hell are you talking about?" Stan takes a drink, "Aren't some of you married?"
Joseph chuckles. "What Emily doesn't know won't kill her."
Preston nods. "I've never had a youngin'. I wonder if she's experienced—she has to be, wearing that little bikini like that. I'd make her regret it."
Evan chuckles looking down. "Which one of these young girls have perked your guys's interest?"
"Here she comes now." Preston says excitedly, nastily smirking. "Damn, that body."
Even turns to see only one woman walking their way: Brooke. Every bone in Evan's body begins to tremble with anger at the realization. These middle age men, who Evan once called his friends, were talking about HIS girl. Brooke. Evan's fist get really tight, his voice already beginning to roar like thunder in his throat.
"Hi!" Brooke grins as she walks up, innocent and oblivious to the group of men's true intentions.
"Hi!" The men say in unison.
They all grin at her as she continues to close the gap between them. Evan opens his arms out for Brooke, wanting nothing more to hold her close and not let any of the men have the chance to touch her
"Did you come over here to talk to us?" Preston says sickly flirtatious, "I've noticed you from across the pool—"
The beautiful 23-year-old woman does her little half run, half skip towards her older fiancé. She falls right into Evan's arms, her lips finding his automatically as her hands rest on his broad shoulders. She grins into the kiss, giggling playfully. The middle aged men all get very quiet, looking away nervously (and awkwardly!).
Brooke pulls away from the kiss, biting her lip as she stares up into those blue eyes of Evan's. The men can't help but notice how Evan's mood has completely shifted than it was before.
"I missed you." Brooke whispers to Evan, her lips pouting for another kiss.
"So whose your little friend, Evan?" Preston says dryly, faking a smile as he clutches his whiskey glass. "Care to introduce us?"
Even kisses the top of his fiancé's head as she wraps her skinny arms around his middle. "This is actually my wife, Brooke."
Drew silently says an 'oh no'. Brooke blushes at the term 'WIFE'. The 37-year-old man (Evan) glares up at the men, who all stare at them uncomfortably. Stan takes a big drink from his whiskey and claps a hand on Evan's back.
"I think I'm gonna find MY woman now." Then Stan is gone.
Everyone is quiet for a while. Evan occasionally kisses the top of Brooke's head as his arms still grasp her to his body. She wonders why he hadn't introduced her to his friends. Evan glares at Preston who stares down at his glass of whiskey.
"So, this is the heart stealer? She's quite something." Preston nods, looking at a captured Brooke. "You're a lucky man, Evan."
Evan glares at Preston annoyed, his nostrils flaring. " I know it."
