*Third person POV*

For about a month and a half now, Evan and Brooke have been working on their relationship. They have been more intimate and flirtatious towards each other, home and in public. Sometimes at the office. Evan feels young like a giddy child and Brooke feels older like a woman in her thirties. They complete the other.
Evan forced Brooke to press charges on not only Preston, but himself as well. Brooke had a restraining order against him after she charged him with sexual assault. It ruined Preston Hill for good. He was fired from his assistant position at Biggsbe Economics (an economic organization focused on making the earth cleaner). After the lawyer fees (Kayla's Husband, Paul) and extra fees were deducted, Brooke was given $15,000 dollars for the assault. Brooke dropped the charges against Evan, which lead to an argument between the couple. But Brooke ended the argument and didn't press charges on Evan.

As the halftime commercials are broadcast, Evan sits the floor with Brooke. The guys all try to ignore the annoying couple's constant flirting but it becomes a challenge. Brooke sits on Evan's lap, her butt using his thighs as a seat. She smiles down at him and lightly rubs her hands over his bearded jawline then to his broad chest.
Evan bounces Brooke with his knees and arms, only doing this to get her chest to bounce against him. He bites his lip and slightly looks down. Brooke catches onto his game and fakes being mad at him. She purposely begins to move away, knowing that Evan would pull her back into him. He kisses her jawline playfully as she giggles. He bounces her again, loving how cute she looks on his lap.
"Hey, Ev!" Will walks in, getting several warned looks from the guys. "How's Bob?"
Both Brooke and Evan freeze. Brooke slowly retracts from Evan but he holds her firm in her seat on his lap. Andrew walks over with beefy cheese nachos in his hands.
"Don't know, don't care." Evan looks at Brooke's face, his hands brushing up against her smooth, bare thighs. "Why? Did you see him somewhere?"
"No, just wondered why you never invite him over anymore." Will says confused, sitting right beside Evan and Brooke on the couch. "It seems like you've got your hands full anyhow."
Brooke smiles at Evan, who grins and arches his brow at his woman.
"Indeed I do." Evan says proudly.
Andrew sits down in the recliner. "You know, I wish Mariah still looked at me like that. Now she has a shrine of Michael B. Jordan in our closet."
Brooke snorts. "I don't blame her."
Evan gives her an arched brow. "Oh, really now?"
Brooke gives him the 'Aww' look. "Oh, you know you mean the world to me."
Andrew chuckles while eating his nachos. "Nice save, B."
Some of the other guys walk in and sit around the tv. Brooke gets off Evan's lap and sits in between his legs. She snuggles in his muscular arms, receiving a kiss on the corner of her mouth. Some of the guys roll their eyes at them, Brooke catches each one out of the corner of her eye.
Brooke turns sideways and puts a hand on Evan's chest. "I should go."
"Your ass stays right here." Evan whispers into her ear, kissing the sensitive skin just below her ear. "Beautiful Princess."
"I just feel like I'm bothering you and you're friends." Brooke whispers.
Evan gives her a confused, firm look. "Baby you're NEVER a bother. Who gave you the idea that you're bothering us? I want your cute ass to stay here on my lap."
Brooke stands up and walks to the front door, grabbing her keys. She blows him a kiss and waves. Evan sits there annoyed.
"Why did she leave?" Greg says confused, taking a HUGE bite out of his nachos.
Evan shrugs. "She said she had felt like she was taking up our time together, us guys."
All the guys remain silent as they eat, even as the game begins. In that moment, it occurs to Evan that they felt that way too.
