When you think of your boyfriend being your boss, what do you imagine? Days off? Paid vacation? Sneaky, scandalous sex in his office? Well, it's not what it's cracked up to be.
On my first day, I have called 39 people—YES I SAID 39 PEOPLE—and set up different time schedules and meetings. Yes, I know, that is part of my job, but it gets worst. Lacey, a worker who has a massive crush on Evan (Yuck!), was out sick and I had to run get his lunch from the ONE PLACE he only likes to eat at for lunch and the damn people screwed up the order. Evan was not happy around lunch time, that's for sure. He was very hangry. I ran around trying to multitask and do everything that was expected of me. At the end of the day, I wanted to quit. No wonder Evan's always so pissed off or exhausted. Doing all that in one day sucks the energy out of you.
I went home and was about to climb into the tub when I got a phone call from Evan. Damn it. I answer tiredly.
"Hello?" I say tired and annoyed.
"Hey Sweetheart, I'm bringing Chinese up for you." He says through the phone.
I sigh heavily. "Okay, but I'm not hungry."
There's a knock at the door. Groaning, I put my robe on and walk to my apartment door. When I open it, Evan stands there in his sweats.
"What do you mean you're not hungry? Is my Baby sick?" Evan walks on in, setting the food down on the table.
I start to talk when Evan puts his hands on my neck, feeling for a fever. Then my face, hands, and feet. He pulls me close to him, brushing the hairs out of my face.
"You're tired." I nod my head, "Baby, eat then let me relax you."
Evan sets me down at the table and rubs my knotted shoulders. I cry out in pain as he rubs the tender spots. But he doesn't stop.
"You're so tense." He says to me, "Maybe this job is too stressful for you."
I whip my body around to him. "No! I can handle it. It's just my first day. It'll get easier, right?"
Even kisses my forehead before sitting down to eat. I stare at him annoyed. I don't want to eat! I want a nice bubble bath and 12 hours of sleep.

Evan lays between my legs, his back to my front. He uses my boobs as pillows to rest his head. I lather his semi-hairy chest and broad shoulders as his hands rub my thighs and legs.
"We have it outside. I know you're not religious." I kiss his temple, my hands trailing down his chest and over his stomach.
Evan's hands grab mine, stopping me from getting to where I want to go. He lightly chuckles, barely even a chuckle at all.
"I know your father was a Christian Preacher— I was raised half Catholic by Bob and half Buddhist by my mother—but I want you to do what you want to do." Evan's deep voice is so low, so much more deep. "If you want a big, church wedding, I'll be there. If you want an outside wedding, I'll be there. If you want to go get married in Vegas, fine by me Baby."
I smile. "I want a bohemian wedding. My bare feet on the grass and the semi-windy breeze through my dress. Flowers in my hair, three layered cake with editable flowers. You in dress pants and suspenders."
Evan's brow aches. "Suspenders?"
I giggle, lightly smacking his chest. "It's just a thought!"
Evan sighs, taking my left hand. He stares at the ring as he rubs my fingers.
"I'll wear whatever my wife tells me to wear." Evan kisses my knuckles, "You could tell me we're getting married in a Baptist church and I have to swear a full tux and I'd still be the happiest man alive."
I kiss his receding hairline. "Just what every woman wants to hear."
