Chapter 38: Finale

I smiled to him and nodded softly before he let out a laugh of shock. "Oh my god." He said bringing his other hand up to cover his mouth and smile. 

It made me giggle and I put my hand on top of the one he had on my stomach. "We are not just having a baby though..." I said trailing off. 

His eye brows came together again and he looked at me even more confused. "What do you mean?" 

"Did you look at the pictures closely?" He pulled his hand from my body and fumbled opening the envelope back up. He was looking at them, very focused, but I don't think he understood. "Here, let me show you." I said taking it from him. I leaned up, with a bit of his help and he moved so that he was to my side looking over my shoulder. "Do you see this?" I said my voice soft pointing at one of the little beans. 

"Well....yes." 

"That is our baby." I smiled. 

"Right...I saw that." 

"Okay, well did you see this?" I said pointing to another little bean. 

He didn't respond at first and when I turned my head his eyes were wide and his jaw was clenched tight. I watched his throat bob as he swallowed hard. He licked his lips and looked over to me. "Umm...yeah?" 

"Okay that is baby number two." I smiled. 

"WHAT?!" He helled grabbing the picture. I let a giggle bubble out of my mouth. He still doesn't reaize.

I reached up and took the picture from him. "Pay attention." I playfully scolded and he swallowed hard again and nodded. He leaned down more, his head level with me, and I giggled again before pointing to the last tiny bean. "And do you see that one?" 

"You have got to be shitting me." he said in an amused tone. "There are three of them!?" He turned to me and I met his gaze, his lips starting to pull up at the corners. 

"Mhmm...we are going to have three babies Joonie....three." I smiled looking up to him. 

One single tear fell down his cheek from the corner of his eye, and he leaned his forehead on my temple. "We are going to be parents." he said with a smile. Then he lifted his head. "Oh shit...we are going to be parents." He slumped back in his seat starting off into space. "I'm going to be a dad." he continued his hand reading on his lips.

I took his hand and held it tightly. "Are you okay?" 

"Yeah." He responded breathily. "I just...I...wow...was not expecting that...is that why you went to GOT7s?"

I nodded. "I found out this morning. Jimin was the only one home and I when I found him he of course already knew. Youngjae is the only wolf doctor in our area so I called him and he was free so we went over for a checkup. He said I was having three." I smiled. 

"Wait...wait...how is that even possible? I thought you had to be in heat while I was in rut...you weren't in your heat when I was in rut a few weeks ago." 

"Youngjae did a lot of research about this...and apparently for Onyx and Pearl couples it doesn't matter." I continued to explain to Namjoon everything that was explained to me, and he thought it would be a great idea for Youbgjae's research to be handed to all the packs throughout the entire territory, the northeast and the southwest. 

It took about another 48 hours for me to feel normal again. I could walk but barely, and all my movements were slow. Thank goodness that it wasn't more serious than it was. I had several checkups with Youngjae over the next several weeks, and I was just starting to show when I woke up to Namjoon snuggling me into his chest.
