My dearest darling dreamer,
Here's a reason to be proud.
I tell you here and everywhere
To shout it around town.
Your heart bears love undying,
Your mind's no bounded sea
Your tolerance unwavering
And deep inside, you're free.
My dearest darling dreamer,
Here's a reason to show pride.
No burden should you be bearing,
To no one around you lie.
Your identity is sacred,
It is yours alone to keep
Like the rushing rivers abiding
By the timeless, flowing sweep.
My dearest darling dreamer,
Here's a reason to truly smile.
You're in a time of change, my friend;
The journey of a thousand miles.
The one you love may love you back
No judgement passed, not now
If you went back and told yourself that
You might even wonder how.
My dearest darling dreamer,
Here's a reason to spread love.
We live in an age of conflict
But that's not what you're made of.
We all have peace inside us,
We've accepted what's really true.
You may be every color of the rainbow
Or even simply black and blue.
My dearest darling dreamer,
Here's a reason to stand tall.
Though some may be out to get you,
I believe they don't have you at all.
They're jealous of your smiles, my dear
And the power that it holds
Like those of us who march in peace
You have a heart of gold.
My dearest darling dreamer,
Here's a reason to show your soul.
You're allowed to love who you will
Regardless of how rules take their toll.
The laws, they cannot stop you
Your mind will never break
You've come thus far, my shining star
The differences you'll make!
My dearest darling dreamer,
Shine bright! Prismatic child,
Your light is but eternal,
Your power far from mild.
No hate will ever dim you
Nor will doubt be your fall and treason,
My dearest darling dreamer, be proud!
For every single reason.
