Everywhere I go, I'm looking for the sun
I'm supposed to protect you, remember
I was supposed to be Sanctuary and you my Redemption
But there are no foes upon your path
All those thorns obstruct my way
Your enemies have become mine
And your demons lurk in my shadows now
The world crumbles as time resumes
Awakening from its distorted slumber
Memories are faulty and emotions are foolish
Biscuits aren't what they seem
After decades of living a lie
The impossible is normality
But normal is a past that doesn't exist
What has departed is returning
The shield I sent on a journey should be back now
But I remain defenseless
So tell me, if I am Sanctuary
With no one to protect
And the world targeting my back
Who will protect me
Who is the Sanctuary for the Sanctuary
Who will keep my embrace safe
When our memories stop lying
Who will purge the world of these falsified shadows
If they are all still looking for the sun?
