Thou standst upon the sands of time
From whence thy troubles come
Amongst the clouds thy kingdom lies
Unheeded in thy heart
Wherefore art thou so far away
So distant in thy night and day
From dusk to dawn with needless sway
Stilled to stone by thy gaze
Eagerly awaiting thy requital
In some unrequited state
Illumined beneath some summer sun
Illuminated I wait
