There are some rhythms that you just never follow
Some pixel responses are forever hollow
If you don't want me around then why don't you just say
You come back and then vanish and push me away
Scatterplot lines and some varied regression
Some economical fiasco, predicted recession
Even walking along the path that's a best line of fit
Missing points at point-blank, I'm ahead, I might quit
There's always correlation and some vague causation
And like I've said before my overcompensation
Take the past and its deposits, interest paid in remorse
Life teaches too much, so withdraw from its course
