Navy as the ocean, navy on the ocean
Cerulean waves that catch you slipping, slipping off the steps,
Slipping off the stool, hanging only by a noose, got a thread
Over your head, where you goin'? Goin' home? No you're not.
I said, "HAIL!"
To the victors, that's my state, in my state
I said, "HAIL!"
There's no verdant helmet flag in my estate
I said, "HAIL!"
Crimson and silver can weep and try to wait
I said, "HAIL!"
Land of Lincoln ain't gon' be on my plate
I said, "HAIL!"
Catch a storm in your sails, the route home on which you sail
Like a scammer catching sales, though your manners don't prevail
If your banter isn't frail, eye for an eye we agree
But you see, you left me, you can't touch me anymore
What you say is your opinion even if you know the truth
How you act is your decision even if you choose uncouth
The way you show the incisions in your heart's goin' Poof!
Can't attack me with my own sword, I don't got one, try the roof.
Call me vulgar, call me lost, call me the damn tempest tost
Call me but don't call my number cause it's dead and cold as frost
Call me fake, call me a brute, call me a shotgun that won't shoot
Call me late, apologize, you think I'll take it? Hah, you're cute
Try a number I don't have, try a letter I won't send
Try exploiting what I told you: my love for you never ends
I'll protect you in the rain, shine, through your own created gale
I'm a pretty special snowflake, cause I'm motherfuckin' hail.
