Ask me something I can't answer,
Maybe I'll have an answer this time.
If I can't figure out the truth, then
Sever frayed red thread ties,
Say, who attempts but never tries?
Always ask for impossible things
Set up for each of the passing hours
Kick aside the seconds and minutes
Even when those little moments were ours,
When tears were smiles and shards were flowers.
And who knows when you'll see this,
Who knows if you will at all?
Reminiscing only gets you so far,
Yet this won't climb after it falls.
A little bit misshapen,
Maybe streaked by tears run dry,
I don't suppose you'll forgive me for wasting both our time.
