Have you heard, Upper East Siders? Burlesque is all the rage again. And sometime a little raging is exactly what you need. And as always, Chuck's aiming to be ahead of the curves. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

AN AFTERMATH HAD appeared from the masquerade ball and Victoria hated how she had become part of it. It caused for her anxieties. Whenever she caught sight of Blair Waldorf she had felt that it was wrong for her to hold such a deep secret about the feelings in which Nate Archibald had that weren't reciprocated to Blair. Then another anxiety eating away at her was the diamond bracelet in which Jenny Humphrey exclaimed she wasn't capable of finding, the one in which she needed to return to the store owner who had leant it to her just for the night. The last thing in which Victoria wanted for her sister was to be caught, especially after all the extreme lengths they all had gone through to make sure it wasn't to happen.
Victoria's interests would've been elsewhere if it wasn't to her sister, she would be catching the gossip about Serena van der Woodsen and her new boyfriend, Dan Humphrey. The newest couple were caught hovering outside of the gates of school, exchanging a deep rough kiss that many were humoured by. A private moment between the couple had spread not only through texts but on Gossip Girl, and everyone was fixated on the Humphrey who had Serena pinned to the brick wall.
The brunette Humphrey would've been thankful to know that her and Carter's relationship was never topic of conversation.
Her interest narrowed upon her locker that sat along the walls of the girl's hall, she had been flicking through her binders to try and find the homework she had completed. The last thing she wanted was to have had left it at home, the idea of it had caused a frustrated sigh to pass through her lips before the last binder became her only hope and allowed her relief. The paper she had wrote was found and which she had slid into her grasp to prepare her to carry it to her next class.
Victoria's anxieties continued to deafen her, all she was capable of hearing was the soft beat of her heart as she finished occupying her locker causing its close. In that time, her phone had chimed causing her to dig it out the pocket of her dark navy blazer. Maybe it was a text to announce that Jenny was filled with relief and she had found the bracelet she needed to return. . . or not.
JENNY.
STILL CAN'T FIND IT. BLAIR IS GOING TO KILL ME!A frown formed on Victoria's thinned lips at the panic she knew her sister was under. She was prepared to miss a class and try and help her sister find the bracelet she had been searching high and low for before anyone else who knew about it found out it was missing.
