VICTORIA FOUND IT difficult to comprehend what Nate told her the night before. It was when Lincoln Hawk reached the end of their set, and the night at the studio concluded on a high note. . .for some. Nate had taken Victoria to grab something for her comfort, as he unleashed as much information as he could that explained who Georgina Sparks truly was. Though there was gratitude that Victoria was capable to understand the pretences of Georgina Sparks, who was out to stab Serena van der Woodsen in the back, she just didn't quite understand why all of the people she cared most about were just deemed to be the perfect collateral damage.

There was something Nate left out, the most important detail. Why did Georgina want to stab Serena in the back? Victoria respected that lack of detail because it was Serena's story to tell, and which she confessed to her closet friends and what Dan was due to find out as soon as Serena was within his company. Though Victoria understood why Nate couldn't explain Serena's story it was still bugging a part of her brain. Why did Georgina want to stab Serena in the back? Her curiosity took over her throughout the night, when she got up, when she showered, even when she dressed. And as she stood, brushing her teeth, only staring at herself in the mirror where she noted her own furrowed brows caused by her wonder.

The bristles of her brush scratched against her teeth as she heard a knock bellow throughout the loft, that she believed was empty. Her father hadn't come home, and she assumed he had found himself celebrating for the night with his bandmates, and when Victoria managed to have finally fell asleep she was so sure Dan hadn't returned to the comfort of their loft either. Victoria hated to assume what she did, but she thought that he was still on the streets with Georgina Sparks, unable to have had been reached. But, oh, how her assumption was deeply wrong.

When opening the bathroom door, with the idea of opening the blue paint chipped door to reveal the person who decided to visit so early in the morning, she had found herself being greeted by her twin brother, hurrying out of his room whilst slipping a shirt over his greyed vest. "You're home!" Victoria muffled her relief through a mouthful of toothpaste.

Dan's brows knitted together in confusion of the words of his twin he couldn't possibly understand. "What?" He didn't linger too long to know what his sister said, as she rolled her eyes and turned away from her brother to return to the bathroom sink and empty her mouth full of toothpaste.

As Victoria retreated from the bathroom, she had only found Dan locking lips with Serena van der Woodsen, the Upper East Sider who didn't find herself getting one bit of shut eye as she had been trying to get hold of Dan all throughout the night. "Oh, hey, Serena." Victoria friendly greeted.
