As summer comes to an end I'd like to share a few things I've learned about fun in the sun. Gossip Girl's Guide to Summer, tip number one: don't fall asleep on the job. The best hookups are free of morning breath and awkward conversation. The only thing harder than making up is waking up.

LOVE WAS NEVER going to be easy, actually, it was meant to have different kinds of depths that possessed an ounce of difficulty. Love is not easy. Well, Victoria would protest the use of the word when describing her and Nate's relationship to other people. She felt something for him but she wasn't too sure if she would define it as love just yet. She had a form of love for Nate. Of course. Why else would she have had been thinking about him throughout the summer, unable to piece a painting together since their breakup of a short lived relationship? Victoria felt something ever so deeply for Nate that she did, with the idea of rekindling, want it to own its difficult. If it was too easy it was no doubt too good to be true.

Victoria never rambled on about this with Nate, she let him talk and explain this older woman who he been sleeping with and that there were no strings attached. By older woman, Victoria did indeed assume a girl maybe already heading into her first year of university, maybe even her second. The girl didn't much bat an eyelid at what Nate was saying, he didn't owe it to her because they weren't together when this sexual relationship was happening. Victoria's opinion, in her case, it didn't matter. Was it weird for her to be flattered that Nate tried to distract himself from her because she was always on his mind? Some would heavily argue yes.

Nate didn't exactly know what thoughts were swirling around in Victoria's mind, he did expect an entirely different reaction from her. He expected for her to be grossed out with the tale he had about his summer, he actually believed she'd want nothing to do with him during her state of anger. Nate believed he'd have to grovel to get another chance with the girl who clung onto a piece of his mind and heart throughout the course of summer.

He didn't quite understand it. He thought by inviting her to stay with him in the Archibald's summer home, she would've unleashed all of what was sitting on her shoulders about his fling but instead Victoria hadn't spoken a word of it. The Humphrey confessed about how she pinned the blame on Nate for being of fault of neglecting her brain the chance to be sprung with inspiration for her art. He, too, clung to her mind and heart.

The Archibald thought staring at Victoria might've made it capable for him to figure out if there were different kind of thoughts spinning around in the girl's head, that she thought was better to not unleash to him ( specifically about his summer fling ). But it was difficult to try to peer into her mind when she slept by his side. Nate still wasn't over the fringe she had cut over the same, he didn't complain about it because either way she looked perfect. The Archibald noted the way loose strands of hair from the bun Victoria tied the night before, had fallen into her face leading to him brushing them away from clinging onto her.
