roman holiday

Hey, Upper East Siders. It's Christmas in New York and along with the season comes the Constance Billard/St. Jude's Bazaar where the only thing bizarre are the donated items for sale.

THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY was one of Victoria's favourites, when the clock would strike on midnight to transition in the new year all she could think about was the holiday that gathered friends and family together, that required movies being watched, presents being received and gifted. It created a merry feeling in which buried into people's stomachs and made them the best versions of themselves. The idea of Christmas, the decorations of Christmas had opened up minds to people celebrating, where charities were gifted with generous donations and everyone within New York City seemingly moved together to celebrate such an occasion during its winter.

But the only downfall of Christmas time within New York City this year round, was that the Big Apple wasn't covered in a blanket of thick snow and that they didn't freeze from the cold enough. That's what made Christmas in New York City even greater. Victoria loved the snow, completely adored it when it was to drop from the sky and rest on the shoulders of her coat but the lack of it wasn't going to damper her mood as she stood outside the iron gates of her school, awaiting for the approach her best friend her eyes continued to search for amongst the citizens of the city.

Collectively the girls had come together for a Christmas present for Daniel Humphrey, one having the idea and the other allowing for the idea to stem into something great. Victoria's hands were buried into the pockets of the short dark wool coat she had sitting on her back and which kept her warm from the chill that still nipped at her cheeks and caused their reddened state. She was rather thankful that she had wrapped up and warm as she continuously waited for her best friend to make her appearance.

Vanessa Abrams had dodged past people with speed, an apology slipping out of her lips each time she had bumped into an individual who walked too slow for her liking. She just wanted to catch Dan before it was too late. Within her grasp was a scroll that she waved in order for her to gain the Humphrey's attention, the one who waited for her at the iron gates of the private school. "I got it!" She announced with such eagerness that it caused for Victoria's relief and for a smile to spread on her thinned lips. "I got it. And I'm here." A heavy breath passed through the Abrams' lips caused by her own relief as she was prepared to hand the scroll over towards the brunette teen but instead a hand had secured tightly around her wrist.
