Mornings are simply more fun on the Upper East Side. Our favourite things to wake up to: the sun in the sky, the Nikkei on the rise, and a wake-up call from you latest lover or your best friend.

NATE OWNED ANXIETIES about his summer in the mayor's office. As William was continuously chattering about where Nate is to be stationed, what he was to be doing, the boy had begun to feel a crisis was due to occur. Now, who would think that Nate would be panicking about what suits he needed to purchase for the occasion, especially when he always looked good in everything? Victoria expressed her doubt towards the Archibald that no one would judge him if her wore Armani or Ralph Lauren, that whatever he chose to wear his time and his work would be what people in the mayor's office would be concentrated on.
Oh, but Nate didn't stop. He was going through his blazers with the feel as though he didn't have the time in the world. The Archibald felt as though what was possessed in his closet were too young, announcing his immaturity and failed to have that level of sophistication he needed for his adventure in the mayor's office for the summer. He had been praying that Victoria would donate him more comfort, but her soft giggles and her tender reassurance wasn't enough for Nate.
Victoria's phone was pressed against her ear feeling as though Nate's rambles weren't going to end, but she remained pleased that he explained his anxiety towards her and the ounce of insecurity that seeped in. "Ok. Ok." Victoria eased him, interjecting his rambles. "Nate, after school I will come over, we will go shopping to make sure you have the perfect suit for your first day in the mayor's office." He had been waiting for that moment. "You're stressing over something so little."
"I-I just. . ." Nate sighed deeply. "I want to make my grandfather proud. The last thing I want to do is create a bad reputation for the Vanderbilts."
"Oh, and you think that will happen if you wear a black suit instead of a navy suit?" Victoria quipped leading to Nate's soft chuckle, he begun to understand how he made something so small sound so disastrous.
"Ok. Yes, I sound insane." Victoria laughed at the Archibald before she balanced her phone between her ear and her shoulder while her free hand reached for her bag. "So, have you told Jenny about the party?" Nate quizzed.
"Uh, not yet." Victoria's voice lowered as she threw in the textbooks she needed for her classes throughout the day. "Well, the moment Lily, Serena, Jenny and I are all in the same room, we'll surprise her."
